Monthly pension is their only source of income. Vedavathi’s daughter is residing with her grandparents after symptoms of mental health issues were seen in her.

The condition of their house is pathetic and they still live in darkness as there is no electricity connection. While like minded citizens requested them to be admitted to the hospital they refused saying “Our pension will be stopped”.

Finally Ganesh Raj Saralebettu, Rajesh Prabhu Parkala, Nithyananda Volakadu, Vishu Shetty Ambalpady and others have admitted Vedavathi and Raghavendra to A V Baliga Hospital, Doddanagudde for treatment.
