Udupi: UPPA to Hold State Level Photography Contest ‘UPPA Moods of Sri Krishna Janmastami’

Udupi: The Udupi Press Photographers’ Association (UPPA) and Paryaya Kaniyoor Srikrishna Math  is holding a State-level photography contest titled “UPPA Moods of Sri Krishna Janmastami” to mark the Krishna Jansmastami and Vitlapindi.

In a press release UPPA President Janardhan Kodavoor said that the Photographs should reflect the celebrations and the grandeur of the Sri Krishna Jayanti (Janmashtami) and Vittal Pindi festivals which will be celebrated at Udupi here on September 5 and 6. The winners will receive cash prizes of Rs. 5555 (first), Rs. 3333 (second) and Rs. 2222 (third). There will be five consolation prizes carrying a certificate and a memento each.

Each entrant may submit a maximum of four entries. The maximum size of colour prints should be in 1800 pixels width and all prints should be untouched. Further each entry should bear title, name and address of the entrant.

All entries must be entirely the work of the entrant and that the jury’s decision will be final. Unless otherwise specified the competition committee reserve the right to reproduce any of the entries in the catalogue. The last date for submission of photos is on September 20.  All entries should be sent to uppaudupi@gmail.com
