In the boys under 16 category, UIS had 2 close calls, both their semi-finals with ICS and finals with IES were a touch and go. In the semi-finals between UIS and ICS was a delight to watch, both teams consistently scoring and keeping the scores tie. UIS had a technical edge over ICS in the last half and held on to the 2 point lead for the last 3.5 seconds. In spite UIS on 5 team fouls, ICS did not take that advantage. Final Score UIS (42) / ICS (40)

The boys under 16 Finals between UIS and IES was at first a one-sided game until the 2nd half score was UIS with 30 and IES with 18. In the last 5 minutes there seemed to be a different IES team playing on the court. They brought the supporters on the edge of the seat, with a fantastic comeback and losing to UIS by 4 points. Julian of IES was in good touch in the second half, rebounded well and scored all the important points. He was rightly judged MVP of the finals for his calm and swift movements on the court.

The girls under 16 category UIS v/s IEAS was also a close encounter. IEAS played the Strong defensive game. MVP Bernadine D’Souza was a good form despite her sprained little finger on her right hand. Both Bernadine and Jezziah Pearl O Juezan complimented each other well for IEAS.
