Uma Prashanth Takes Charge as DCP Crime and Traffic
Mangaluru: The DCP Crime and Traffic post was vacant after DCP Hanumantharaya took charge as the DCP of Law and Order.
When Dr Sanjeev Patil was transferred to Bengaluru in his place, Hanumantharaya was in-charge. Later DCP Law and Order Shantharaju was also transferred to Bengaluru and the post of DCP Law and order was taken over by Hanumantharaya. Since then the DCP Crime and Traffic post was vacant. On October 3, Uma Prashanth took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime and traffic.
Prior to this post Uma Prashanth has been the SP of the central range, Bengaluru.
