Under trial POCSO Case Accused Escapes from Custody at Byndoor
Byndoor: An under trial in the POCSO case escaped from the escort police in the Byndoor Railway Station on Saturday, October 6.
The accused Suresh Naik (26) a resident of Golihole, Byndoor escaped while he was escorted by the police.
Suresh Naik was arrested two months ago under a POCSO case by the Byndoor Police. On Saturday, he was brought from the Karwar prison and produced before the court. While he was being taken back to the Karwar prison by Matsyagandha Express train, he acted like he suddenly fell sick and escaped from the police who were escorting him at the Byndoor Railway Station.
A case has been registered in the Byndoor Police station and the investigation is on.
