Undertrial Escapes from Washroom at Sullia Bus-stand
Mangaluru: An undertrial escaped from Sullia bus stand while the Kerala police were taking him back to Hosadurga Jail on September 14.
According to police, on September 14 morning Aziz alias Mohammed (35) was brought to Sullia to be produced before the JMFC Court in the Sullia theft case by the Kerala police from Hosadurga Jail. Recently Aziz was involved in a murder case in Kasargod and was arrested by the Hosadurga police.
After producing him before the JMFC court in connection with the theft case in Sullia, Hosadurga police were taking him back to Kerala. Two police from the Hosadurga Jail were accompanying Aziz. In the Sullia bus Stand, Aziz said that he wanted to go to the washroom. One of the police accompanied Aziz to the washroom. Aziz after pushing the policeman ran away and escaped jumping the Bus stand compound.
The police are now searching for Aziz.
