Undertrial in Prashant Poojary Murder Case Killed in Mysuru Jail
Mysuru: The undertrial in the Moodbidri Prashant Murder case was killed by Kiran Shetty at the central jail here on November 10.
Mustafa Kavoor (28), from Mangaluru, was killed by Prashant Poojary’s friend Kiran Shetty who was also in the same jail in Mysuru.
Kiran Shetty stabbed Mustafa to death in the Mysuru jail, Mustafa was rushed to the hospital by the police. Due to severe bleeding, Mustafa breathed his last in the hospital.
Prashant Poojary was killed in October 2015 in Moodbidri. Mustafa was involved in Prashant Murder case was facing charges. Kiran Shetty and Prashant Poojary were friends. It is suspected that Kiran in an act of revenge stabbed Mustafa who died of severe bleeding in the hospital.
Mandi police have registered a case.
