Underworld Don Rashid Malbari’s Aide arrested
Mangaluru: The Anti-rowdy squad of Mangaluru North Sub division police have arrested the aide of underworld don Rashid Malbari in Puttur on October 13.
The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Shameer alias Dami alias Deadly (27) from Jokatte, Mangaluru.
On getting information about Mohammed Shameer’s whereabouts, the Anti Rowdy squad of Mangaluru North Sub Division Police reached Kallantadka, Kabaka Puttur and arrested him.
Mohammed Shameer was arrested in 2013 for life threat and extortion case, he was produced before the court and released on bail, since then he has not appeared before the court and was absconding. In another assault case also registered in the Panambur police station, Shameer was absconding.
Five cases have been registered against Shameer in the Panambur police station and a dacoity case has been registered against him in the Suratkal police station.
Under the able leadership of ACP Rajendra D S, police Inspector of Mangaluru North Subdivision Anti Rowdy Squad Rafiq K M and team arrested Shameer.
