Unidentified Man Assaults Media Employee and Snatches Gold Chain Worth Rs 2 Lakh
Udupi: A 37-year-old man working as a deputy manager in the Advertisement section of a leading newspaper lost his gold chain after a person assaulted him, snatched his gold chain and fled from the spot in Udupi City here on Tuesday, December 4 night.
On Tuesday, December 4, at around 10:00 pm, Ravi Shettigar (37), a resident of Indrali Laxmindranagara returned from Kundapur after official work, left the in his office and went to the washroom. At the same time, an unidentified man who was following him assaulted him and snatched his gold chain. Before Ravi Shettigar could even react the man fled from the spot with his gold chain worth Rs 2 lakh.
In this regard, a case has been registered in the Udupi Town Police Station.
