Union Govt should promulgate an ordinance to Build Ram Temple – Palimar Swamiji
Udupi: “Islam is not a religion, it is an imperialist ideology. Moreover, the Quran is not a religious script of Islam but is an Islamic manifesto”, said Manjunath Swami regional Special Sampark Pramuk of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
He was speaking at the Janagrah meet organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Udupi on Sunday, December 2 to step up pressure on the Union Government to issue an ordinance to build the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Addressing the gathering Manjunath Swami said, “The people of the country must come out of the illusion that Muslims are trustworthy. It is important to know that Muslims are not trustworthy. Islamic terrorism is happening in this country, and they are not just militants but Islamic militants. They have looted many countries around the world and destroyed the culture of those countries and made the countries Islamic”, he said.
Manjunath Swami further said, “Quran is not the religious scripture of Isam it is a manifesto of Islamic terrorism. The Quran teaches to destroy whoever opposes the Islamic way. The Mosques are not centers of prayer but centers of Terror activity. Recently the court has also said that Muslims do not need Mosques to offer Namaz, then why do they build Mosques in the country. Muslims are offering Namaz in Railway Stations, Bus Stands, airports everywhere that is why they don’t need Mosques”.
Manjunath Swami also said, “The Hindu Society has continued the struggle for many centuries to build a Ram Temple on the Shree Ram Janmabhumi site in Ayodhya. Since the last 68 years, cases have been pending in various courts including the Supreme Court. It has been proved beyond doubt on the basis of archaeological evidence that a Hindu temple stood at the disputed site before it was demolished 400 years ago by Babar”.
“We respect the Supreme Court, but that respect doesn’t mean waiting eternally for justice. Also, the Hindu society feels insulted because, on October 29, the judges postponed the hearing of the case to January 2019, who said that the court has other priorities. The case was given only 4-5 minutes time on October 29. As the Hindu society cannot wait eternally for justice to be delivered by the courts, we want a law to be enacted by the Union Government in Parliament and clear all the legal and other obstacles to build a Temple in Ayodhya”, Manjunath Swami said.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Vidyadeesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Palimar Math said, “We are not asking to build the Ram Temple in China or Pakistan. We are not begging to build the Temple in Ayodhya. It is our right to ask. In a democratic country after getting full support of the citizens, the Mandir should be built at the place where the people have demanded”.
Sri Vidyadeesha Theertha Swamiji further said, “We have waited for four and a half years during this tenure of the BJP government and we cannot wait longer. The prime minister should make a decision and get an ordinance promulgated,” the Swamiji said.
Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) All India joint secretary Raghavalu said that the elected representatives should raise their voice demanding the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya in the forthcoming winter session in parliament to begin from December 11.
the saints and VHP members would urge every member of the parliament irrespective of their political affiliation to demand the construction of the temple.
“An ordinance should be passed. The 540 odd parliamentarians should unitedly take up the issue,” he stressed and appealed to the huge crowd assembled to make use of social media to reach out to every individual in every village to build a momentum on supporting the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Lauding the efforts of the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath for renaming Allahabad as Prayagraj, Raghvalu informed Ardh Kumbhamela would be held in January. Around six crore people are expected to take part and 29 tents had been installed on the banks of River Ganga.
Two day Dharmasamsad will also be organised from January 31 to February 1, wherein 20,000 saints are expected to take part. The united voice would emerge pressuring for the government to take a decision.
He added Geetha Jayanti will be held in six lakh villages in the country for seven days from December 18.
He said that it was not worth waiting for the court verdict.
He termed Muslims, Christians as demons, Raghavalu said that there was need to fight against atrocities created by these religions.
Muslims may influence the parliament and the court. There are 77 photographs proving remains of Ram Mandir.
MP Shobha Karandlaje promised to talk to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the gaining momentum in the public in favour of Ram Mandir. The demand for the Mandir had been there for 460 years. The cry was intensified after Independence hoping that the government which took over will take it up.
“But the government ignored the issue in the name of secularism. In 1992, the Babri Masjid was demolished by the Kar Sevaks,” said Shobha.
She said that she is a devotee of Lord Ram and later a parliamentarian. She accused former Union minister Kapil Sibal and his team of advocates of postponing the hearing in the Ayodhya case in Supreme Court to January 29.
