United Colours of 124 Gonzagaites Mark ‘Colours Day’ at St Aloysius Gonzaga School
Mangaluru: Quoting Allen Klein “Your attitude is like a box of crayons that colour your world. Try adding some bright colours to the picture by including humour, and your picture begins to lighten up”, Childhood is the most beautiful of all life’s seasons. A little splash of colour can brighten up the day and when it’s Colour Day in the Kindergarten Block, the day is truly kaleidoscopic. Colour Day gives us the opportunity to take the tiny tots into a magical world where colours come alive. Each colour so unique and special in making the world we live in so beautiful – Just like each little boy and girl in our care, unique and so very special. Colours are the smiles of nature! With the same smile and enthusiasm the Tiny Tots of St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated its colours day, with an aim to teach the children about the colours which we see in our day to day life
Yes, Colour and shapes are two very noticeable attributes of the world around us. Pre Primary Education gives a base to colours before a child learns other skills of reading, writing and arithmetic. The Kinder Gartners of St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated ‘COLOURS DAY’ on 18 July 2019 at 9.30 am, with great zeal and enthusiasm. The kindergartners were dressed up in colourful attire and they looked stunning which added real colour to the programme.
Comparing the tiny tots to God’s angels, the Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ in his address expressed his views on the positive effects of colours in one’s life. “Colour is a way which affects their lives. The mood of the children are changed by the colours. Our little Angels have turned into colourful Angels. While celebrating Colours Day, I hope their lives also will be colourful. Colours no doubt plays an important role in childrens’lives, which also brightens their lives ” added Fr Lobo.
