Urban Souk Opens Exhibition cum Sale ‘Flea Market’ at Bharath Mall
Mangaluru: The Urban Souk opened a two-day Flea Market, an exhibition cum sale at the first floor of Bharath Mall here on May 6.
The Flea Market will be open from 11 am to 10 PM. There will be cultural programmes and entertainment from the Urban Souk team, Bengaluru. Team Tigers Yemmekere will perform the tiger dance on May 7 evening, they will rock the stage for one hour.
There will be a fashion show and ramp walk from popular models of Designer Mantra.
Stalls selling various items have been set up. Designer dresses, party wears, bridal wears etc are available.
Speaking to mangalorean.com partner of Urban Souk Alester D’Souza said, “This is the first time we have organised the Flea Market. Dakshina Kannada especially Mangaluru is very popular for tradition and culture. We have nearly 40 stalls with homemade items like pickles, oils, various flavoured juices, clothing, plasticware, designer wear and much more. We are holding this event to provide a unique platform for housewives and traders to sell their homemade products at the flea market”.
Founder and MD of Urban Souk Khader Khan said, “We have organised the Flea Market in Bengaluru, which was very successful. On May 7 we will entertain the crowd with the Tiger dance which is a traditional dance of Tulunadu. Team Tigers Yemmekere will entertain the crowd with their high flying tiger dance. There will be a fashion show from popular models from Designer Mantra. Hope the people of Mangaluru will enjoy the Flea Market which will help us to organise many more events in Mangaluru.”
