January marks National Human Trafficking Awareness Month. It is important to understand that human trafficking can happen to anyone, anywhere and in any situation. Human Trafficking is a crime involving the use of Force, Fraud and Coercion.

“It is one of the fastest growing criminal enterprises worldwide and is on pace to surpass the drug trade in less than five years,” said State Representative Teresa Fedor.

Harold spoke, “For any common man to survive in the United States of America you need four things, State I.D., Work Permit, Social Security Card and Freedom.”

The National Human Trafficking Resource Center hotline number is 1-888-373-7888 and one can even text ‘HELP’ or ‘INFO’ at 233733(BeFree) in America.
