Veteran Journalist Alfie D’Souza (64) Passes Away
Mangaluru: Veteran Journalist Alfred D’Souza (64), popularly known as Alfie, passed away on June 29.
Alfie D’Souza is the brother of Joseph and Rudy D’Souza.
Alfie D’Souza worked in the USA for over 30 years and settled in Mangaluru. In 2012, he joined mangalorean.com as a freelancer. He has written several articles on civic issues with a positive impact.
Mangalorean.com condoles the death of Alfie D’Souza who passed away on June 29th at around 7:30 am.
His last rites will be held on June 29 at 3.30pm, at Bejai Church.
Shocked to hear the sudden passing away of our dear Alfie who was a popular journalist and a sincere friend. He was one of the few friends who gave his unconditional support to XET & XITC. He was a man with rare qualities of head and heart. Though journalism might not have given him his daily bread but by his simplicity and rare talent, dearest Alfie stands tall among others.
