Veteran Konkani writer Lancy Pinto Nayak No More

Mangaluru: Senior Konkani writer Lancy Pinto Nayak passed away after a brain haemorrhage in Fr Muller Hospital here on April 10.

Lancy Pinto Nayak was a resident of Kulshekar, he was 61.

Lancy Pinto Nayak was born on December 13, 1955. He has written many novels, short stories, articles, Konkani poems and Konkani stage plays. He has also won several awards for his literary work.

On April 10, early morning Lancy was admitted to the hospital after he suffered a brain haemorrhage and his condition was critical. He is survived by wife, son and a Daughter.

Really konkani community lost a legend writer as well as a lover of konkani. He personally posted appreciation and encouragement comments on the Face Book on 8th about my 7th konkani legal information book release. and I thanked him too for his good gesture. May lord almighty give strength to his beloved ones to bear the loss. May his soul rest in peace
