Veteran litterateur Erya Laxminarayana Rao No More
Mangaluru: Veteran litterateur Erya Laxminarayana Rao passed away due to cardiac arrest on July 27. He was 94.
Erya Laxminarayana Alva was a legend in the field of Tulu literature. He was the columnist and president of Sahitya Sammelan.
Some of the works written by Erya Laxminarayana Rao are ‘Swamy Vivekanander Bokka Arena Upadesha,’ ‘Ramashwamedhada Rasatharangagalu,’ ‘Mangala Thimaru,’ ‘Gana kogile’ and others.
It is learnt that Erya Laxminarayana Rao died of cardiac arrest at his residence. He is survived by wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
