VHP and BD demand probe on Kalburgi Govt Officer’s Involvement in Love Jihad Case
Udupi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal on Tuesday July 3, submitted a memorandum to the state government through the deputy commissioner Udupi and demanded to suspend Irshad Ullah Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Kalburgi and his wife for their involvement in a Love Jihad case involving a Gujarat based Hindu woman and a Kerala based Muslim man.
In the memorandum, it is stated that Irshad Ullah Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Kalaburagi along with his wife was in touch with a Gujarati woman when the latter was studying in Bengaluru during 2014-15. He and his wife Both lured innocent girls giving money and later converting them to Islam were selling them to the Sheikhs of Saudi Arabia. Many Hindu girls were being lured by this official and were converted to Islam.
Irshad’s wife misused the Facebook and Instagram Social Networking sites and developed friendship with Hindu girls. After sexually exploiting the girls with the help of Muslim Youths the girls were blackmailed by Irshad and his wife.
The NIA sleuths knocked on the doors of Irshad Ullah Khan and conducted a raid. The officials seized the laptop of Irshad’s wife and her mobile phone to verify whether the duo were still in touch with each other. This clearly shows that as a senior government official was supporting Love Jihad. The government should immediately suspend Irshad Ullah Khan and conduct a proper investigation in this matter, they demanded.
