Turin, July 17 (IANS) Juventus’s Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal is reportedly one step away from joining German football champions Bayern Munich for a deal valued at 35 million euros ($38 million).
The imminence of Vidal’s signing was revealed when “the warrior” informed his family in this regard and his agent, Fernando Felicevich, postponed his Monaco vacation, Efe reported on Thursday.
It was reported that the Bavarian giants are ready to offer a five-year contract, valued at 6.5 million euros (around $ 7 million) per season, in addition to the 30 million euros ($32.6 million) the club has already offered Juventus.
It was noted that Juventus initially asked for 45 million euros (around $49 million), but dropped the offer to 40 million euros ($43.5 million) on Wednesday afternoon; it is thought that the two sides will meet somewhere in the middle, closer to the 35 million-euro mark, plus added bonuses.
