Video of COVID Survivor Praising the Health Care Fraternity at Wenlock Hospital goes Viral
Mangaluru: If there are quite a few people talking bad about the services and facilities provided at the District Wenlock Hospital, here is one person, who has got high praise for the doctors, nurses and other health care staff at Wenlock Hospital- and he has expressed his gratitude through a very sentimental video recording which has gone viral on social media.
This video of the COVID-19 survivor lauding the efforts of District Wenlock Hospital health care fraternity and paramedical staff has gone viral and has received thousands of hits, praising the survivor. The video has also been shared by Police Commissioner Dr. P S Harsha on his twitter account. In the video, after the patient hailing from Thokkuttu, is being escorted by his friends and relatives, and later speaking, where he says, “Despite testing positive for COVID-19, the doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff have treated me with love and care. They have risked their lives while saving my life”.
It is learnt that this man after coming back to Mangaluru from the Muslim Conference held in Delhi, was quarantined at Wenlock hospital, and was discharged a couple of days ago. Later in the video, he says, “I was given the best treatment at the hospital, and doctors have risked their lives in taking care of me, which needs to be appreciated. Even the police also showered their love to me. My eyes are filled with love for the treatment shown towards me. I can not forget those who saved my life. The health care staff at the hospital had provided us with all the needed facilities. When I needed some hot water and the required food, they kindly obliged. And when there was no water in the toilet at 4 am, they quickly made arrangements for the supply of water. I am grateful to all these lifesavers at Wenlock hospital, for their care and love when I was admitted there”.
