Vinay Kumar Sorake Inaugurates MLA office in Udupi Taluk Panchayat
Udupi: The office of Kaup MLA and former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake was inaugurated at the Samarthya Saudha complex at the Taluk Panchayat Premises, here on December 15.
As part of the new office inauguration Gana Homa and other rituals were held.
Speaking to Mangalorean.com Vinay Kumar Sorake said, “The major part of Kaup constituency is coming under Udupi Taluk and I am the president of the Taluk Panchayat KDP meeting. We have opened the party office in Hiriyadka to help people in the rural areas. In Kaup too we have the congress office and people of Kaup region visit the office seeking help. Instead of calling the government officials to the party office, I had requested the Deputy commissioner to provide a space to open my own office at the Taluk Panchayat premises. The Deputy Commissioner provided me with the space to have my office”.
Sorake further said, “I am available in the office during the morning for the convenience of the people in the city. The new office will help all the people seeking government help. The public can visit the office with their problems and all assistance will be provided to solve their problems.
Speaking about minister H Y Meti’s resignation Sorake said that the Chief Minister has taken the right decision by asking the resignation of Meti which will save the government from embarrassment.
Congress leader Harish Kini, Geetha Wagle, Shivaji Suvarna, Rajani Hegde and others were present.
