Vinay Kumar Sorake inaugurates TP-level Yuvajana Mela at Gundupade
Udupi: Yuvajana Mela is a good forum for the youth from rural areas to showcase their skills and talent, said former minister and Kuap MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Udupi Taluk-level Yuvajana Mela oragnised by Zilla Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat, Youth empowerment and sports department, Kodibettu Grama Panchayat and Gundupade Geleyara Balaga, Mahila Samaja on Monday, 2 January 2017 at Gundupade here.
The youth should utilise their power to build a powerful nation. Youth must work towards building the nation rather than engaging in unproductive activities. “The youth have been entrusted to bring social development in the nation. Girls and boys should take part in the programmes like the youth fair which depict the art, culture and tradition of our nation. Youth should engage in constructive activities where they will be able to expose their talent and also at the same time would be able to hold the integrity of the nation.
TP President Nalini Pradeep Rao asked the youth to imbibe good qualities, thus engaging in social activities. Such youth fairs are held to portray different culture and tradition of our nation under a single roof, she said.
Hiriyadka TP member Laxmi Narayan Prabhu, Kodibettu Grama Panchayat president Raju Poojary, Manipura GP vice-president Karunakar Karkera, Entrepreneur Gurme Suresh Shetty, Innanje GP VP Malini Shetty, Gundupade Geleyara Balaga president Ashok Naik and others were present.
