Vroom! Get Set for the 4th Edition of ‘Alva’s Motorig’ to be held on 21st May 2017 at Alva’s Institute of Engineering Technology, Shobhavana Campus, Mijar, Moodbidri
Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangalore Press Club, Akshay Jain- President of Bedra Adventurous Club-Moodbidri said, “Alva’s Institute of Engineering Technology, Moodbidri is hosting the 4th ‘Alva’s Motorig 2017’, on May 21st at 10:45 AM in Shobhavana Campus, Mijar-Moodbidri. Alva’s Motorig is an annual event which comprises of the display of various automobiles in segments (Super bikes, Super cars luxury cars, Vintage collections, and customized vehicles) and gist of motor sport drag and drift demos and customized sequential stunt performances performed by national drivers and riders. The event also comprises of display of vehicle stunts performed by experts on motorbikes. There are over 200 top-end cars and two-wheelers, both vintage and new releases. This includes a variety of cars and motorbikes”.
He further said, ” This year Motorig will be inaugurated by Kishore Alva, Executive Director, Adani UPCL along with other invited delegates namely. Ashwin Naik – Indian rally champion, Ganesh Rao – Chairman Karavali group of Institutions,.Kuldeep M – Chowtara Aramane Moodbidri. Abulal Puthige – Proprietor Vishwas Bava Builders Moodbidri, and Sanjay Rao, Director, Mandovi Motors pvt ltd, Mangaluru. This event is jointly organized by Alva’s Education Foundation, TASC, IMSC, Bedra Adventurous Club, Coastal Riders, KL14 and Team Bedra United.”

In this year’s Motorig the organizers are aiming for the advancement of the displays and activities in the event like:
– Expo of over 200 top-end cars and two-wheelers, both vintage and new releases.
– Gaurav Khatri, National level freestyle motor sport rider from Jaipur Team Cyclone would be performing sequential stunts.
– Arjun Rao, Indian rally champion from Mangaluru and Rahul Kanthraj, Indian rally champion would be performing rally sequence and stunts.
– Adnan and Sudeep Kotari, Indian motor rally super cross champions would also be performing super cross sequence and stunts.
– Hot pistons group from Udupi would be performing freestyle stunts on two wheels.
– There would be Auto ramp by various Exotic, premium vehicle etc from in and around Mangaluru.
Gaurav Khatri, National level freestyle motorsport rider, Jaipur, Muddukrishna, Motorig coordinator, Alva’s Education Foundation; and Prasad, Lecturer, Alva’s Education Foundation were also present during the press meet.
