Wanted in 24 cases Accused Haneef Arrested
Mangaluru: The Ullal police have arrested the accused who was wanted in 24 cases at Ullal here on July 24.
Accused Haneef alias Muhammed Haneef (30) from Munnur was arrested by the Ullal police in connection with the murder case, attempt to murder, extortion, dacoity and theft cases in the Ullal Police station, Mangaluru North and Kushal Nagar Police station and a warrant was issued against him.
On July 21, on getting information, the Ullal police arrested the accused Haneef in Ullal and produced him before the court.
Under the direction of Police commissioner T R Suresh and under the able guidance of DCP Law and Order Hanumantharaya, DCP Crime and Traffic Uma Prashanth and ACP Mangaluru South Sub-division K Ramrao, the operation was carried out by Ullal police inspector K R Gopikrishna, PSI Gurappa Kanthi, Vinayak Thoragal, Ranjith, Dinesh Shetty, Prashanth, Vasudev, Chidanand and Suresh.
