War heroes remembered on Kargil Vijay Diwas
Udupi: Members of the Retired Soldiers Forum Udupi paid tribute to martyrs of the Kargil war at the ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ programme held at the War Memorial Ajjarkadu, Udupi here, on July 26.
The retired soldiers offered flowers to the war memorial and paid their tributes to the martyrs, remembering their sacrifice for the country.
Speaking to the media, retired soldier Chandrashekar said that every individual should feel proud of our soldiers who are protecting the country.
The nation is celebrating the 17th Kargil Vijay Diwas to commemorate its success in the war against Pakistan.
