‘We Built The Ramp, Not Mluru City Corporation’ Clarify Doctors in the Kadri Building
Mangaluru: Clarifying on the report “https://www.mangalorean.com/website-impact-now-mcc-builds-a-ramp-for-easy-access-to-building-having-clinics/“published by Mangalorean.com on 8 November, Orthopaedician Dr Leo Tauro, having a clinic in the building near Kadri said, “We want to clarify on the report published by your website, that the ramp was built through contribution made by five doctors having clinics in the building. Although corporator Ashok had promised earlier that MCC would build a ramp, but we couldn’t wait for them, since our clients were facing inconveniences reaching to our clinics. We will also build few steps for the convenience of the shops in the basement. The whole project would cost us around Rs one lakh, and we have hired our own contractor to do the job. “.
Also speaking to Team Mangalorean Corporator Ashok said, “The doctors wanted to have the ramp at the earliest and of their liking, so they had got the approval from MCC Engineer Devaraj, and went ahead in building the ramp. MCC may split 50% of the cost of the ramp expenses incurred by the doctors. The ramp will be ready soon for people to use it”.
