We need Ram Mandir as well as Ram Rajya: Thogadia during Hindu Samajotsava
Udupi: We need Ram Mandir and Ram Rajya as well as the prosperity of Hindus. We will not allow any memorial for Babar. Those who are seeking this are anti-nationals said Vishwa Hindu Parishad International President Pravin Togadia.
He was addressing the gathering at the vibrant Hindu Samajothsava at the MGM Ground Udupi here on Sunday, November 26 to mark the historic Dharma Sansad organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
The fight is not for a Ram Mandir or a piece of land. There are lakhs of temples in the country, including many in Ayodhya. But the Ram temple in Ayodhya is linked to the sentiments of 80 crore Hindus in the country. No force in the universe can stop the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Only the Ram temple will be built and not any Memorial for Babar in Ayodhya. There is no need for any monument of Babar since he did not belong to India, said Togadia.
Ayodhya is the only birthplace of Bhagwan Rama and no one can change it. No Masjid would be constructed in Ayodhya and there is no scope for any negotiations, he added.
Speaking on the controversy surrounding Bollywood film “Padmavati”, Togadia said that the Censor Board should take a stand on the issue and it should be banned. Padmawati was a great queen, why should people protest against the movie based on her life? It’s the responsibility of the Censor Board. It should take a stand and should ban the movie. If Sanjay Bhansali has to guts he should make a film on Mohammed Paigambar, he said.
One-fourth of our population is illiterate. Basic health and the medical profession are out of the reach of the middle class now. There are crores of unemployed Hindu youth in our country. Out of 17 crore farmers in the country, only six crores have a roof to live under. Crores of Hindus sleep hungry every day in our country. Farmers are committing suicide and the business community is being harassed, he alleged and claimed that his organization would work towards achieving the lost glory of Hindus.
Though caste discrimination has come down in our country, it hasn’t gone away completely. For its eradication, Hindus should be treated equally. Entry to all Temples in the country should be given without caste discrimination. We should respect and love each other. The poor are denied education and farmers are dying due to the burden of loan. We envision a poverty less Hindustan. We want peace, unity and prosperity here.
Under the ‘Hindu Parivaar Mitra’ campaign, Dr Togadia said that the upper caste Hindu families should eat in the Dalits’ kitchen, invite them to your kitchen stand with them in their moment of joy and grief go out to travel with them this is the message we wish to convey.
Togadia advised Hindu families to get all their children educated. He wanted everyone to get employed and hunger to be driven away from our country. He reminded that poor families are struggling for food even now. The Dharma Sansad has decided to strengthen Bharat as a ‘Society without Untouchability’, he added.
