Mangaluru: The BJP held the Party workers meet at the Canara High School auditorium here on March 25.

The programme began with an invocation. BJP leader Vedavyas Kamath welcomed the gathering.

The programme was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Petroleum Dharmendra Pradhan by lighting the traditional lamp along with other dignitaries on the dais.

Addressing the gathering Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, “I have toured Padubidri, Suratkal, Moodbidri and now I am in Mangaluru. In May the assembly elections will be held, followed by the MCC and Zilla Panchayat elections. With our hard work and efforts, we have strengthened the BJP. Because of the dedication and hard work Our BJP workers A divisive government is sitting in Bengaluru. There is no development, they did not work for the welfare of the people. The government is filled with corruption and we see violence in the state. We need to defeat such a government in the coming elections”.

Dharmendra Pradhan further said, “We are here to plan for the forthcoming elections and we all should work hand in hand to defeat the Congress government. In the coming elections, we need Modi’s BJP government to come to power in Karnataka.”

Before the party workers meet began, the media was requested to leave the auditorium.
