We will discuss and resolve party issues internally: Minister Satish Jarkiholi

Udupi: “We will discuss internal party matters internally and resolve any issues that may arise. We feel there are no problems. I will directly ask them to understand if there is any issue”, said State Public Works Department Minister Satish Jarkiholi.

He was responding to questions from journalists at a press conference held after a departmental progress review meeting at the District Commissioner’s office auditorium in Manipal.

When asked about Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s statement that no one should misuse the Chief Minister’s name and the response given by Minister Rajanna, he replied, stating that it is an internal party matter to be discussed within the party.

“We cannot intervene between the statements of DK Shivakumar and Rajanna. They must respond to their statements. That’s how Rajanna is; he cannot be angry with anyone”, Jarkiholi explained.

In response to a question about holding a meeting for dissenters and marginalized within the party, Satish Jarkiholi said, “As of now, there is no proposal for such a meeting. It may happen in the future. We’ll see. We will inform all the media then”, he said.

“A proposal has come for the construction of a new well-equipped guesthouse (IB) in Udupi, for which a DPR has been instructed to be prepared. The existing guesthouse will be retained, and a new, well-equipped IB with around 20 rooms will be constructed on the same site”, Satish Jarkiholi informed.

When asked about the pending payment of approximately 230 crore rupees to contractors handling Public Works Department contracts in the district, he said that the payments are being distributed equally on a priority basis.
