Well Known Konkani Dramatist J B D’Souza (66) No More
Mangaluru: John Baptist D’Souza, aged 66, a resident of Kulshekar here, popularly known as ‘JB D’Souza’ in the world of Konkani literary, and a resident passed away today (Monday) 12 December, during the early morning hours. He was a playwright of numerous dramas and skits in Konkani language.
“Devache Upades”. a Konkani play directed by JB D’Souza which was aired on All India Radio (AIR) and performed in various cities, also in Mangaluru had become a diamond jubilee hit. Sadly being paralyzed a few years ago, D’Souza had to quit his drama career.
JB D’Souza is survived by his wife, Josephine and two daughters, Jane and Jyothi.

Funeral cortege leaves residence “Joshma Villa” on Thursday, 13 December 2016 at 3:15 pm for Holy Cross church, Cordel followed by Mass at 3:30 pm.
