Why only Congress? IT dept should also initiate raids on BJP ministers – Pramod Madhwaraj
Udupi: Why is the Income Tax Department initiating raids only on the houses of Congress MLA and Ministers, it should also conduct raids on BJP ministers and their aides said Minister for Fisheries, Sports, Youth Empowerment and Minister in-charge District Pramod Madhwaraj. He was speaking with the media persons during in his office Udupi here on August 4.
There is nothing wrong in raiding D K Shivakumar but opposition parties are targeted by the BJP using the Central government machinery. The Income Tax raid on D K Shivakumar is because of the frustration caused to BJP for accommodating the Gujarat MLA’s. The raid was not required when Gujrat MLA’s were in Karnataka. The Ministers who pay their taxes on time can sleep peacefully.
Commenting on D K Shivakumar’s mother’s statement against Chief Minister, he said that she may not be aware of the political environment in the state, he also said that he will not comment further on the issue.
