Will Fulfil All Demands If given another chance – Pramod Madhwaraj

Udupi: “After the Congress government came to power in Karnataka I have brought more than 2000 crore grant for the development work in four and half years for the Udupi assembly constituency. If the people of Udupi are giving me another chance, I will definitely fulfil all the demands”, said Udupi district minister in-charge Pramod Madhwaraj.

He was speaking after distributing Loans under various government schemes to the minority beneficiaries of the Udupi assembly constituency on Monday, February 26, at Don Bosco Hall, Mother of Sorrows Church.

Addressing the gathering Pramod said, “After becoming the MLA I have served my constituency transparently. God has given me a chance to serve the people as MLA and minister. In my tenure, the majority of the demands have been fulfilled and I am satisfied with my work. If the people of Udupi give me another chance, I am ready to serve with more efficiency”.

Chief minister Siddaramaiah has given more importance to uplift the backward and the minority community in the state. He has introduced many schemes for the betterment of the minorities. The state government led by CM Siddaramaiah has reserved many schemes which are not found in any other state. Beneficiaries should utilize the funds they have received for a good purpose, he stressed.

Under the Minority development Board, 313 beneficiaries received Rs 94.24 lakh Loan under various government schemes.

The Karnataka State Minority development Board president M A Gafoor, Udupi Mother of Sorrows Church parish priest and Udupi diocese Chancellor Fr Valerian Mendonca, Prakash Andrade, and others were present.

Nobody truly knows what development works were carried out from the Rs.2000 Cr. grant that is being claimed by Mr, Pramod Madhwaraj. A substantiation to this tall claim would have improved the credibility of this article, The erratic power supply and outage has never ceased and MESCOM hardly cares! The state of main roads have never improved unless protests are carried out – Manipal is a great example. The drainage system has never been reconstructed to meet the rise in population and area wise density.
