Will Make Mangaluru Model Constituency, Lobo During Mane Manege Congress
Mangaluru: The district minister in-charge B Ramanath Rai, Education Minister Tanveer Sait, AICC General Secretary Vishnunath and other Congress leaders flagged off the first Mane Manege Congress Campaign by the Mangaluru South Constituency led by MLA J R Lobo at Shivabagh here on September 23.
Speaking on the occasion AICC Secretary and In-charge of Mysuru P C Vishnunath said, “We have already started our Mane Manege Congress here in Mangaluru Constituency. The State-level inauguration will be flagged off in Mahadevepura constituency. In all the 224 constituencies at the same time, we are conducting this one-month programme. We will visit every house and make the people aware of the state governments promises made in the election manifesto being fulfilled, we will take to the people, the government’s schemes and programs that have been implemented. MLA J R Lobo is doing wonderful development work in his constituency. We need the support of the people in the forthcoming elections”.
Addressing the mediapersons Education Minister Tanveer Sait said, “From today onwards for a month Congress leaders will visit every house and make the people aware of the development work carried out by the Congress. We have already implemented the schemes for the people from all walks of life. The opposition is putting false allegations on us. The opposition has even tried to delete the names of the voters from the list. This time we are visiting every house so that all the voters get the opportunity to cast their valuable votes. The Congress government has fulfilled all the promises which were made in the last election manifesto. We will visit every house and let the people know the work done by the Congress. We need the blessings of the people of the state. The campaign will go on for a month during which we will visit every voter.”
MLA Lobo said, “Today we have flagged off the Mane Manege Congress” Campaign which will reach every house and every voter. The voters know the development work done by the Congress government. Our intention is to make Mangaluru a model constituency. In the coming days, we will create more jobs and try to retain all the students who complete their education in Managaluru. Today the Education Minister Tanveer Sait, AICC General Secretary Vishnunath, District Minister In-charge Ramanath Rai, Chief Whip Ivan D’Souza, Council members and party workers are with us to visit every house in the Shivabagh constituency.”
