With Theme ‘Unique Yet United’St Aloysius PUC to host ‘Pre-Unique 2019′ on 8 & 9 Nov

Mangaluru : Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangaluru Press Club, Fr Clifford Sequeira SJ, the Principal of St Aloysius Pre-University College, Mangaluru said, “St Aloysius PU College is a prominent educational enterprise which, for over 140 years has soared up to achieve great success and prominence and takes pride in the opportunities given for the all round development of our students. Pre-Unique offers a platform for exhibiting creativity, a chance for participants to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude through a medley of diverse events. This year, with the theme ‘Unique yet United’, this intellectual and cultural fest will be held on 08 and 09 November 2019. We intend to conduct 26 competitions in various categories and expect about 40 institutions to participate in the same”.

Also speaking, Dr Ganesh Amin, the Dean of the College said, “The experience of devising an experiment or a project, evaluating results and coming up with a conclusion would be incredibly intimidating. Pre-Unique 2019 introduces ‘NIRMAAN’ – a Science Model Making
Competition cum Exhibition for both high schools and P U Colleges. It is also a perfectly enthralling assemblage of food, fun and entertainment with food stalls and fun carnival games”

“The inauguration of Pre Unique 2019 will be held on 08 November 2019 at 9.00 am. Rev. Dr Praveen Martis SJ, Principal, St Aloysius College Autonomous will preside over the programme. Ms Advithi Shetty and Ms Ashwithi Shetty, actresses from Sandalwood will be the Chief Guests. The valedictory programme and prize distribution will be held on 9 November 2019 at 3:30 p.m. Dr Pavan Hegde, HOD of Pediatrics, Father Muller Hospital, will be the Chief Guest and Rev. Fr Clifford Sequeira SJ, Principal, St Aloysius P U College will preside over the function” said Denzil Machado, the Coordinator of Pre-Unique.
