Within 24 Hours DK Reports Third COVID-19 Death on July 1, Death Toll Rises to 17
Mangaluru: Within 24 hours on July 1, Dakshina Kannada district has reported its third COVID-19 death after a 79-year-old man from Bhatkal died at the COVID hospital. This is the 17th COVID-19 death in Dakshina Kannada district.
The 79-year-old man from Bhatkal was suffering from various health issues and was admitted to the COVID Hospital. He was treated in the ICU and on July 1 breathed his last.
Earlier in the day on July 1, a 31-year-old man from Bhatkal died of COVID-19 in a private hospital, and a 72-year-old man from Bengre died at the Wenlock COVID hospital. This is the third death in the district on July 1.
