Without completing Tenure Haladi Srinivas Shetty cheated his Voters – Rakesh Malli
Kundapur: The state INTUC president Rakesh Malli alleged that by joining the BJP independent MLA of Kundapur Haladi Srinivas Shetty has cheated the people of his constituency who voted him in the last assembly elections.
He was addressing the gathering at a protest held at the Shastri Circle Kundapur on Thursday, February 1 against independent MLA of Kundapur Haladi Srinivas Shetty who had resigned as MLA before completing his tenure.
Haladi Srinivas Shetty for his personal benefit resignation as the MLA is cheating done to his voters. During his tenure the Kundapur Constancy was totally neglected, no development work has been done by Haladi Srinivas Shetty. The Kundapur Constancy is facing several problems but he failed to address them. For his personal benefit resigning his post before completing his tenure not acceptable. People of the Kundapur Constituency will teach a good lesson to Haladi Srinivasa Shetty in coming assembly elections, he added.
Youth Congress Leader Amrith Shenoy said that a responsible MLA without completing his 5 years term, resigning his post is cheating done to his voters. Haladi Srinivas Shetty has lost the trust of the voters. In the coming assembly elections, the Congress will put a break in Haladi’s political race, he added.
Congress leaders Dinesh KC, Vikas Hegde, Roshni Olivera, Chandrashekar Kharvi, Sridhar Sherigar, Joythi Putran, Icchithartha Shetty, Mallika Balakrishna Shetty and others were present.
