Yeddyurappa making Circus while Siddaramaiah in Deep Slumber – Poojary
Mangaluru: “According to a news channel which conducted the survey, in the next elections the Congress party will not come to power under the leadership of CM Siddaramaiah. Wake up Siddaramaiah! news channels are telecasting you and some of your ministers who are sleeping in the Assembly. Modi’s dream of making Congress-free India will become a reality. Former Chief minister and opposition leader Yeddyurappa is making circus while CM Siddaramaiah is in deep slumber”, said the Senior congress leader Janardhan Poojary in a press meet held at the Press Club Urwa here on October 31.
Addressing the mediapersons Poojary said, “In Udupi, when there was a protest against the privatization of the government women and Children hospital, Siddaramaiah said, “There is a lack of information regarding the hospital. We will not privatize the hospital”. Don’t you have knowledge or the intelligence report? Where are the coastal MLAs, where are the MPs? It is the duty of the CM to get all the information before attending such a programme. Why is the CM negligent? CM Siddaramaiah is aware that he will not win the elections and is also sure that the Congress party will not come to power in the next elections.”
Poojary alleged, “Siddaramaiah did not bring the Congress party to power, in fact, the people of Karnataka have elected him, but in return what has Siddaramaiah given to the people and the Congress party workers? Siddaramaiah are you a Joker? Questioned Poojary. At present nearly 10 to 20 MLAs are not happy with the CM, if 10 MLAs leave the Congress, the government will fall. Let Siddaramaiah resign from his post and let Parameshwar, SM Krishna or D K Shivakumar be the Chief Minister. There is no need to say that Siddaramaiah will not come to power, in Bengaluru wherever you go people talk about it. If Parameshwar will become the Chief minister, history will be made that a Dalit has become the CM. Janardhan Poojary is the senior most leader in the congress party and Deshpande is right. Being a senior leader I have been advising the Chief minister but he is not ready to take my advice.”
Poojary also said, “Hiremath in a press release said that more than 200 acres of government land have been encroached by the former Prime minister Deve Gowda and his family. If the allegations are wrong, let Deve Gowda give a statement on the allegations”.
Poojary also said, “In the Kudroli temple, during the Goodudeepa competitions, Brahmashree Narayana Guru award was given to Namma Kudla TV Channel. We will hand over Rs 2.60 lakh including tax to Namma Kudla channel for their relentless service towards the Kudroli temple”.
Senior congress leader Vijay Kumar Shetty, Kallige Taranath Shetty, Arun Coelho and others were also present.
