Yenepoya University Wins South East Zone Inter University Football Tournament
Mangaluru: The South East Zone Inter University Football (Men’s) Tournament witnessed a spirited competition, with 51 Universities registering for the Event. The Event was hosted by Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) as a remarkable achievement with first-time hosting. The Tournament comprised four pulsating rounds, Showcasing the passion and skill of different University Football teams from Karnataka, Telangana and Chhattisgarh state universities. The AIU South East Zone Inter University Football Tournament organizing Secretary of the tournament Mr Sujith K V, Physical Education Director, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University).
With intense battle on the field, 4 teams emerged victorious, securing the places in the prestigious All India Football Tournaments. These teams displayed exceptional talent, determination, and Sportsmanship throughout the Competition.

In the thrilling finale, Yenepoya University emerged as a triumphant winner of the South East Zone Inter University Football -Men Tournament. Their remarkable performance and strategy gameplay led them to clinch the title, marking a momentous achievement for the Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Karnataka. Victory is not just in winning matches it’s in nurturing the team’s spirit, fostering resilience, and transforming challenges into triumphal.
