Young Lovers who Attempted Suicide still in ICU in Serious Condition
Mangaluru: Sources reveal that the young couple who attempted suicide by consuming poison on 26 November in Kadri Park, Mangaluru, and who were found lying unconscious in the park by park-goers, who were immediately rushed to AJ Hospital by police, are found to be still in serious condition in the hospital ICU.
It is learnt that the young man Harshith Kumar aged 23, hails from Kasargod district and is employed in a City hospital as a lab technician for a hospital, while the 18-year-old lass Rekha (Name changed), is a lab intern in the same hospital where Harshith works, had attempted suicide, and the reason to end their lives is yet to be ascertained.
As reported earlier, the couple were seen roaming in the Park in the evening hours of 26 November, and a few minutes later were seen lying over each other unconscious. People noticing this called the police, and the young couple were quickly rushed to the hospital. Kadri East police are still investigating this suicide attempt case.
