Younger Brother Kills Elder Brother for silly reason in Byndoor
Byndoor: An elder brother was killed by his younger brother for a silly reason at Bijur Under the Byndoor Police Station limits on Friday, April 3.
Accused Santhosh
The deceased has been identified as Nagaraj (47) a resident of Bijur. The accused Santhosh (20) has been absconding after the incident.
According to the police, Nagaraj and Santhosh were working as daily wage workers. On Thursday, April 2 after finishing the work both consumed alcohol and returned home. Late night Santhosh was roaming on the public road wearing only an inner garment. Elder Brother Nagaraj objected to it and suggested him to wear proper dress. Angered by Nagaraj’s interference, Santhosh hit Nagaraj on the head with a wooden log and escaped. Nagaraj died on the spot due to excessive bleeding.
Family members tried to conduct the final rights of Nagraj. But the locals who found stains on the body alerted the Byndoor Police.
Udupi SP Nisha James, Byndoor SI Timmesh BN and other police officials visited the spot and collected necessary information.
A case has been registered in the Byndoor Police Station.
