Very unfortunate Incident. The leaders present during the event praised themselves. Bragged about their achievement. It was funny to watch. Coming to the incident part, The scaffold/gallery which was erected on the sand rather on a firm ground. Did anybody Checked the fitness of the gallery???? What is the standard protocol ???? Lets not blame anybody for this. Be cautious while setting a temporary gallery in future. There are some requirements to erect a scaffold or this type of gallery. Lets educate people.

Not a pipsqueak when I post a video of his Western masters subjects being homeless and involved/PUSHED into the sex trade. Nope! Not a squeak! Instead, he DEMANDS to know the names of people involved in some silly smuggling at MIA. (Poor brown Indian bozo thinks he is a blue-blooded Boston brahmin if he turns a blind eye to the billions of USD of dope & guns & women being trafficked in the land of the FREE! The funniest part is – WHENEVER I point out to the triple standards of his Western masters, he accuses me of being AGAINST his Vedic masters. And, whenever I pull his Elastic Baba ramaDeva’s atta noodle to check-out it’s elastic limit and yield point, he accuses me of hating his beloved BoddaPPAnna coz his Bloomingdale (made in China) crystal ball doesn’t show stuff too well! Well, American Born Confused Desi’s (ABCD’s) are RENOWNED for being terribly confused! Man, Rampa…. my due sympathies! Get well soon, you hear? 🙂

I don’t understand the obsession of these ‘activists’ to blame Hindu organizations for everything!!! Those who blame the silence of mangalureans should take a look at their own past actions and silence on many other important topics including cartoon controversy, JNU incident and MIA incidents. One doesn’t gain any credibility by showing selective outrage. As to the murder of Mr.Baliga, our police should show zero tolerance. If I am right, they have already captured the individuals who murdered Mr.Baliga. I’m sure they would catch the masterminds behind the murder as well.

  • From Nelson Lewis on Cancel Tender or Party May Ask CM to Step Down - Janardhan Poojary

There is a beautiful saying from an illustrious personality, considered to be America’s best President, namely Abraham Lincoln, whom I admire very much for unifying all the States of America (which, today, is the world’s fourth largest landmass) and freeing slaves and giving that country a sense of direction during its times of trial and tribulation. The saying is something like this: You can fool all people, some of the time, You can fool some people, all the time, But you cannot fool all the people, all the time. r In all fairness to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who lives luxury, opulence and does not have any connect with the masses and has been quoted by the media in their press release of 14.04.2016 that, “When Omung Kumar (the director of the film) came to me with the subject, it was an immediate yes. How can we walk away from telling such a story?” Her words sound very sweet to the gullible. I wish to tell Aishwarya Rai Bachchan that this sob story may go well with many of my countrymen, thanks to being naïve, they have voted to power many governments and politicians who are undesirables, muscle-men, those having criminal records or criminal cases pending against them, etc. Sarbjit Singh was languishing in a Pakistani jail for many, many years and what did Aishwarya Rai Bachchan do? With her exalted stature, she could have approached the President and Prime Minister of the day, Parliament, politicians and others personalities to get this man released. She was busy with her films and other commercial ventures and now her name is also mentioned in the Panama Leak Papers and her father-in-law is always busy with all sorts of endorsements and other commercial interests. Why cannot she say that she is doing a role in this film, because she will make good money and that is precisely the reason for accepting a role? In India, there Builders, Bollywood, BCCI/IPL, etc., all side with each other and there is no question of morality or fair play. For instance, if a male member of a film fraternity has been accused of molestation or raping, none of these people will condemn it, but mum, including so called megastars like Amitabh Bachchan or Sharukh Khan. They all have read Jeffrey Archer’s novel, “Honour among thieves.”

From the pictures, I have seen many people gathered on this occasion. However, I wonder how many people know anything about Dr. Ambedkar. Dr. Ambedkar was not happy with Congress, Mahatma Gandhi and frustrated with Hinduism which led him to convert to Buddhism along with 700,000 followers. Well, do not get me wrong, because I have no comments to pass on this. Now, all political parties that kept him away are praising him and trying to gain politial mileage. It cost over 30 Million Indian rupees to build the Taj Mahal over 400+ years ago, and this money was funded by tax payers who were our forefathers. Since, our forefathers have already paid for their fair share to build the Taj, it makes sense to charge those who have not paid for the construction, to pay the lions share for its maintenance.

You are right in saying that your religion is the fastest growing one. The reason is exactly why I wrote my earlier post. It shows how your religion is designed to expand and punish anyone who tries to leave it!! As to apostasy, a number of muslim countries either punish apostasy by death or harsh prison sentence. Let’s put it this way. Entry fee to see Taj Mahal is Rs. 1000. It’s heavily subsidized for citizens of India. People who issue tickets try to make a fair guess by way of appearance and accent, as it’s difficult to charge according to country of residence, since everyone in India doesn’t carry identity proof wherever they go, unlike in developed and western countries. Rs. 1000 comes down to around $15 which is a very good price compared to what they pay in other countries like for Disneyland (2 days) it’s $115 after discount for Southern California residents (socal discount). This is just for comparison as Disneyland is theme park which is totally different from visiting Taj Mahal.

Don’t you know that as per our ’36 chambers of Shaolin’ MIA anti-gold-smuggling expert called Yumreeki Raaampaaai, the correct word is ‘Samskrutam’? And that it is NOT “India” BUT ‘Akhaaaandaaa Bhaaaarathaaa’? (Please note the CORRECT number of ‘a”s in each word!) 😉 So, do you want to be charged for Sedition for making such seditious statements? Do you want to lose your pension? Do you want to be branded as an anti-national? Are you making SUCH atrocious statements because your “western masters” taught you just that? Why do you hate Sanaaaathanaaa Dharmaaa so much? You don’t know ANYTHING about Murudeshwaaaraaa but know ALL about Disneyland & Hollywood and Mutton Biryani & Haleem. So, you MUST be Pakistani if not outright Somali! Are you hating Akhaandaaaa Bharathaaaa in general & Brahmanas in particular because your Yumreeki visa was REJECTED AFTER you spent a decade in Saudi doing ‘aadu jeevitham’? Sir, the COUNTRY wants to KNOW and Rampai needs an unconditional apology – preferably on the WHOLE front page of the TOI, ‘Surathi’ & ‘Police Vaarthe’ & Tinkle. Furthermore, your anticipatory bail is hereby REJECTED and your Ration card, Aadhar card, Passport, Passbook, ATM card(s), Gym membership card, gas connection, Pulsar Bike, mobile etc are ‘impounded’ until further notice! Your name is STRUCK off the list of Akhaaandaa Bharathiyaaa nationals who will be receiving their fair share of 15 lakhs! In the meantime, you are directed to report for the ‘Swacch Akhandaaaa Bharathaaa’ campaign! /- Sd. – Lord Original Yumreeki Rampai

Rampa, you SIMPLY can’t “highlight a geographical region” and give it some fancy name to keep your Vedic masters ‘dilkush’! 🙂 And hey, some millions of years back, the whole world was one – called Pangaea! “So many kingdoms and princes…” writes Joker Praveena Pinto. Please remember that your ‘dinka-dinka’ masters also had so many kingdoms, kings and princes in Europe. But it didn’t stop the idea of ‘Europe’ and finally European Union. Same way, Akhanda Bhaaratha concept goes back to Vedic period. It didn’t mean that there were no kingdoms and fights. It simply highlighted a geographical region that shared a common culture, tradition and heritage (Bharateeya parampara). I know this is very hard for you to understand as a result of ‘dinka-dinka’ mindset. I’m here to help you. Thanks to the migration of ‘peaceful’ tribes over 1000 years, we have an amputated Akhanda Bhaaratha today. Samskrutam script (deva naagari) has been replaced by arabic script. The entire region north of Godavari speaks in a strange language born out of foreign invaders.

Here is the indisputable fact – Love jihaad has been going on for 1400 years. A simple question to those illiterates on this forum who deny such a thing called ‘love jihaad’ – What’s the punishment for apostasy in peaceful religion ? (Hint – Try death!!) Now, what’s the punishment for apostasy in Sanaathana dharma or Christianity? (Hint – There is none!!) This is why it’s always the hindu or Christian who ends up converting in these marriages. This is a form of jihaad that has been going on for centuries to expand religion in only one direction. So, please spare me the sanctimony!!

Mr Pai, it is always much more safer to research on a subject thoroughly and then proceed to critisize or comment, especially on a public forum. and when i meant thoroughly its not about googling a subject and becoming a self declared expert but to go through authentic sources and experts in that field. first of all there is no death sentence at all for apostasy in Islam. where ever u got this fact from either google or from some illiterates unfortunately you are terribly wrong. secondly LOVE JIHAD is the creation of some Vested interests to polarize illiterates , you would very well know about those vested interests better than me 🙂 there is absolutely no concept of love jihad in Islam. in fact the holy Quran clearly states “laa ikraha fi ddin” There is no compulsion in religion , at another place the Quran states ” lakum deenukum valiyadeen” for me is my religion for you is yours. signifying the highest expression of pluralism. and that is the very reason that inspite of lot of propaganda against Islam, lot of misconceptions prevailing . still it happens to be the fastest growing religion exceeding 1.7 billion ppl most of the times people start studying Islam in order to find faults in it and critisise only ending up embracing it.

I can see why he intentionally uses the name ‘sanskrit’ to ape his western masters. In any case, isn’t it interesting that he decided to ‘learn’ samskrutam only in PUC?? How did he manage to do it without learning it for 3 years in High School? smiles….Well, either way, it doesn’t really matter as we have seen his complete ignorance in bharateeya culture and heritage. What IF Indians didn’t have the CASTE system coded into their DNA – ALL thanks to the ‘superiors’ UP the Varna ladder? Couldn’t WE have been world-leaders by now? 3. It is really sad to see 100+ people dead and a few hundred folks with injuries. Is it shocking? Not at all. For many years now, Kerala temples and devotees were obsessed with over-the-top fireworks. Go to youtube and do a simple search – you will see what I am talking about. Firework can be entertaining and beautiful when it is done by professionals. However, most of these temple fireworks were nothing but an hour-long high decibel explosion right next to temples with almost no sense of safety. Again, no need to trust me – watch some of the videos posted on youtube from last year. I truly hope that kerala people wake up and take a serious look at this madness. Plus, add other factors like internal power struggle, tension and legal disputes. What explanation do you have for mangaluru vimaana nildaana incidents??? In fact, more important question is – why are we not even seeing the names from MIA incidents being published lately? I did not suggest the Arab rulers are stashing wealth abroad to evade tax, nor did I imply of any wrongdoing on their part as far as the current international laws are concerned. I only questioned why they have to use dubious means to park their wealth, that too when they are the absolute law makers of their own state. Ruler’s wealth is separate from the state’s wealth. The Sovereign Wealth fund is state asset meant for the citizens’ welfare. The Panama papers do not show anything related to the wealth funds. Contrary to what you said, I think the Middle Eastern nationals will begin to bother a lot at some point about these things when the economy turns down drastically in the coming years due to low oil prices and the gravy trains stops. Most of these local Arabs are least qualified to find any productive job. The welfare state has spoilt them for the last couple of generations and they are least equipped to fend for themselves in the absence of State largesse. So far their rulers have been throwing good money after the bad just to keep the population from revolting. But when the money runs out things being to go out of control. Perhaps that’s why these rulers have made a backup plan should they be forced to flee. Perhaps what happened to Egyptian, Libyan rulers in the last 5 years gives a better indication as to what is to come to GCC.

  • From Horny Manatee on Big B opens up on his 'social media capability'

At the outset it does look like political vendetta against Putin and his coterie. Interestingly no US names have been revealed so far. Let’s see what the May release of Panama/Panganama Papers bring to surface. I am sure Clintons have hidden a big loot somewhere in these safe havens (may be even under “benami” accounts) but they are far too well connected socialists so I doubt they will ever be caught. By the way, has the Middle Eastern media shown any balls to publish about UAE, Qatar and Saudi rulers’ Panama stash on their local dailies? It also shows all these sheikhs are just puppet rulers who do not know how long they can hold their sand castles together hence they have kept a rainy day fund abroad. It does not make sense why they have to hide wealth when they are the absolute rulers of their states. Abu Dhabi ruler for example holds prime real estate in the heart of London, in what looks like a very shady operation. If it was attached to their Sovereign Wealth fund it would be a different matter. When the leak involves 11 million records I am sure there are more skeletons falling out of the cupboard soon. What gets my goat is that these scums hide wealth abroad and as a knee-jerk reaction the governments worldwide implement new regulatory controls which only affect the hard working expatriates. You have to prove the money you are trying to remit/send is not stolen where as the well-connected crooks such as Big Bullshitter or SRK always find a way to evade such scrutiny. In some way an Arab-spring style revolution is long overdue in our country where all these fake celebrities are sent to the guillotine. But what to do, our people are too clueless to see the truth. They are far more worried about the next Bollywood release or IPL.

The question, dear friend, is ALL about TAX evasion. As you may very well know, the citizens of the gulf states pay NO TAX! Zilch for the expats too! The monarchs OWN their money and can ‘park’ it ANYWHERE they chose to. Hence, the question of TAX EVASION does NOT arise at all and nobody’s gonna be bothered too much. Now, compare that with folks in the US, UK etc. Sigh! JUST imagine 30 cents siphoned outta our Rampa’s minimum wage of 1USD/hr being parked in some ‘phoreen’ tax haven by his ALREADY ‘phoreen’ masters? Just look at the way the white people GOOFED AROUND & GOOFED UP in Vietnam, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan etc. In Vietnam, paddy farmers shot the white folks backsides full of holes. When they ran out of band-aid’s to patch-up backsides full of holes, they scooted and declared victory. In Afghanistan, heavily-bearded & stoned poppy growers kicked plenty of white backsides after shooting them full of holes! And in Iraq (& the greater Levant), well, the drama goes on. THE white man’s liver quails at the thought of setting boots on the ground to tackle the ISIS in the Greater Levant. Just imagine the irony of getting ones white backsides shot full of holes by brainwashed maniacs which are HIS own creation AND with HIS OWN weapons (some billions of USD worth of arms GIFTED to Iraq and captured by the ISIS). Sheer tomfoolery and GOOFING around AND GOOFING UP, ya Rampa. Well said. 🙂 Hey, I just stated facts, ok? So don’t goof around & GOOF UP (all over again) by saying that: 1. I’m a Sanathana Dharma/Brahmana hater. 2. I’m a Western master(s) lover (the irony that it is YOU who has settled very comfortably on the range in the Wild West notwithstanding). 3. As I have repeatedly reminded readers on this forum, the local MLA and other elected officials have zero interest in ‘swachcha managalooru’. They would rather spend time lecturing what kind of caterers one should hire and promote!! No wonder Mangaluru looks like Kenya or Uganda!!

  • From Max and Jessie Rasquinha on Hundreds of Acres of Forest in Ruins in Repeat Wildfire in Shiradi

Wildfires, especially in forest lands is likely to increase due to changing climates and constant delays in monsoon season. When the grass is dry a simple cigarette butt can trigger a fire anywhere and that fire can spread all across the land. These wild fires can spread hundreds of miles destroying not only land but also housing properties making people homeless. These kind of fires are very common in North America where the pine trees can catch fire even when they are alive and fresh. Aerial spray is one of the best remedies but in countries such as India the aerial fire precautions are either non-existent or too expensive to provide. All said and done, fire prevention and precaution is the best remedy that each and every person should be made responsible. Millions of acres of land with growing grass will become dry and vulnerable to fire hazards. Safety is the best remedy. Cutting the growing grass on a regular basis. Keeping the place clean and tidy is also another solution. Fires can be deadly and can wipe out all the fortunes of agricultural lands, hence public and private meetings should be regularly held with a view to maintain an unified command on all the preventions and precautions. It is a new awakening for India, and this awakening should be taken into serious consideration. We travel by land throughout North America and we see millions of dollars being spent year after year to keep the grass cut in a timely manner all across the land, including the sideways of all the major highways of U.S.A and Canada. The global climate change is bringing all sorts of new concerns and anxieties that we cannot take any more for granted.

  • From Horny Manatee on Big B opens up on his 'social media capability'

The Big Bullshitter may have some explaining to do to the tax authorities but he hasn’t done anything illegal by setting up offshore shell companies to hide his wealth. That said, what he has done is highly unethical. He has no moral right to be the brand ambassador for India in any capacity. On top of that he is using the standard Kindergarten defence of denying the existence of these shady companies under his directorship instead is suggesting somebody else is falsely using his name. Shame on him. People treat Aishwarya Rai as some sort of goddess but she is no less crook. Remember how much she charged the Indian Commonwealth games for representing India in Australia back in 2006? People of India deserve these type of idols. Where do you think all these stars and “businessmen” get the money from to throw at IPL and the clubs? The whole of Bollywood is corrupt to the core, that’s why they have to feign this drama of championing social causes. The other clown SRK also has stashed a lot of money through offshore companies so he does not have to pay taxes in India. Laws are only meant for ordinary people who not only have to toil and pay taxes but also be subservient to the clowns at the top. Shamefully, all these things will be forgotten at the next item-number blockbuster release or the next season of IPL. The problem in India is that nobody has any self respect nor the strength of character to tell apart right from the wrong.

Horny Sir’ji, Why is the Western Media highlighting the name of Putin in the Panama papers? Is Putin’s name directly mentioned? All it mentions is the name of his cronies. (Of course, he may have Billions and more stashed in his gran’s Attic – in cash and gold ingots.. but then, his name hasn’t been pinned down – has it?) Haven’t you read that it was the US who leaked the news (good job, I should say) to ‘cut’ Putin down-to-size? Lol! He managed to show the world how the ISIS can be cut-down to half its size with just abt 3 months of intense bombing! Btw, hasn’t Cameron’s late & beloved ‘Papa’ji’ been named on that list? And is the British Brainwashing Corp. (BBC) doing ANYTHING about it? Quiet as neutered mice – those skunks! 🙂 And, have ANY Yumreeki BIG FISH been nailed in that leak? Let me take this opportunity to give another attempt at educating Joker Praveena Pinto who seems to be in a perpetual state of ignorance. Remember, I told you about ‘trend’ vs ‘isolated incidents’ ? Now, imagine a scenario where we keep hearing about shootouts from small town of Puttur every other week. Imagine, every case involving people only from ‘havyaka bahmana’ community. If so, every self-respecting, reasonable guy should question the reason behind shootouts and ‘havyaka brahmana’ culture. However, in this case – this is an isolated incident the individual shown in picture doesn’t represent a ‘trend’. Now, apply this simple logic to mangaluru vimaana nildaana incidents. Ask yourself who were involved in almost every single case. Why is it that media refuse to disclose the names lately from those incidents? Why is it that only one group is involved in those cases? Remember – People from all different communities use the same airport. It could be original r.pai travelling to US. Or, Praveena flying to Saudi (May be, you took a bus ride to Mumbai to save some money). Well, you get my point!!

  • From Max and Jessie Rasquinha on 'Be Confident in your Leadership'- Fr Sequeira tells St Ann's Alumnae

Empowerment of Leadership in both men and women in a fast growing country such as India is becoming increasingly evident in both men and women. The opportunities for a good leadership are wide open anywhere and everywhere in India where the human intelligence has proven to be the best ingredient towards progress of mankind. This is where the role of Christians in India is becoming increasingly valuable and visible because India is the only country in the whole world that has the fast growth of new generations because of our annual population that grows more than twelve million each year. Our Schools, Colleges and Universities are filled with young men and women ready to learn more and join the procession of new Leaders so as to guide the destiny of our great nation. The Human Resource of India is in fact the Human Capital of India where the leadership plays an important role not only within India but also abroad. The Prime Minister of India who concluded his historic visit to Saudi Arabia has also come to realize the potential available for Indian Human Resource, both men and women to integrate into the fast growing ambitious development of the Kingdom. This is the most exciting time of our life where India has a chance to shine and prosper. Rev. Fr. Pradeep Sequeira, SJ., is therefore hundred percent right in his focus on Leadership before the congregation at St. Ann’s College where the A.C nuns have contributed a great deal for the betterment of Mangalore since the end of the Second World War. The Nuns have given so much to our Community where the Leadership has been proven as a strong and dedicated contribution for the progress and success of our Secular society of Mangalore. Leaders such as Sr. Olivia, Sr. Maria Jyothi, Sr. Prema, Sr. Maria Shrythi, and many others have given so much to the young students of Mangalore and we shall remain ever grateful for them. Their personal capacity of intellectualism, added with their brilliant mind, kind heart and loving spirits have transformed our Christian society. Their leadership has been magnanimous to our Catholic society that has brought ten fold success to the rest of the country. Thank you, Fr. Pradeep, for your wonderful contribution at St. Ann’s. Your Leadership at Beeri AIMIT and your partnership with Fr. Denzil and Fr. Ozzy is extremely commendable. We watch from a distance with a whisper of prayer. Mangalore has been gifted with many leaders in many disciplines, and you are one of them.

  • From Dominic on State Government Playing with Students Future - S P Chengappa

Is it so simple so simple as a question paper leak?perhaps if we look deeper, there appears to be some tacit understanding between the private college managements and some government authorities to make it happen. Look at this way, the date of the exam gets delayed. The students are forced to book their seats in private professional colleges in the management quota by paying high amounts because they are unable to write the entrance exams because of clash in dates and uncertainty of the PU exams. What happens is that the government quota seats will not get filled up, and hence it will be taken back by the managements who will then charge their own rates. So, a win-win situation for the private managements if the exam dates keep getting postponed and someone is making lots of money at the cost of the innocent students careers and finances. Of course, all this sounds hypothetical but it could well be the truth!

It just something you say when it is raining very heavily. he point here is – NOBODY in his right mind says something like – “It’s raining 5 cats and 4 dogs”. One NEVER puts a figure to an idiom (like our blessed TJ Abru did when he referred to some 200 Biryani packets for community X and some 20 or 100 packets for community Y). Artha aitheno, Rampa? The leakage of question papers is nothing new – It has been going on for decades. In he past, people just spoke about it and moved on as there wasn’t enough evidence. Today, the social media offers an unique window and coverage forcing these incompetent govt officials to admit the reality. No point in blaming our leaders when our society is corrupt by nature. It’s time to admit our moral failure if we want a better future. I doubt it though!

I pray that with your efforts the people who misappropriated the temple funds will be brought to book and the builder you mentioned and the school management on the same road where Mr. Baliga lived are also legally punished for their misdeeds. That is the only way to get justice to Mr. Baliga’s parents. With your able leadership this will definitely happen. Hope entire Mangalore rallies behind you.

One lane is completely occupied by cars leaving one narrow lane for vehicles and pedestrians. Footpath is completely occupied by the shops. Walking by that stretch between 6 and 8 PM is a nightmare. What suggestions can I make that may potentially change grown-up people’s habits? It’s by choice. It’s wilful ignorance. You can not coerce anyone into speaking in their mother tongue. It has to come from within. If they are proud of their heritage they will do it regardless. These people are bringing up their children in such a way that Konkani is a foreign language in the household. But if there ever was another Konkani quota from MIT the same people would use that opportunity to gain free admissions. Our system is such that law permits a language certificate is issued just because someone up in your family tree used to speak that language. There is no requirement that the applicant has to speak that language before being issued the certificate. On top of that these institutions (MIT for example) have/had introduced Konkani quota because they want to foster Konkani language but I find it surprising why they can’t put in a requirement that the applicant has to demonstrate the ability to speak in that language before granting admission. It’s a farce.

This is a worth move for India where we have millions of children rising up each year, while many of them have certain disabilities that need be totally ignored and those children should get larger momentum for further success. The Pope talks one thing, the religious here talk the opposite. That’s the last thing we want to hear from the Bishop and other politicians from Mangalore. Keep religion and politics away from food catering and preferences. Leave it to the people to choose their caterers since they take into consideration factors like cost, variety, taste, service and convenience and definitely not religion while deciding on their catering requirements. For starters, do the economically weaker, truly meritorious and deserving Catholic students get admissions in Catholic institutions offering medical and engineering courses in Mangalore? Another glaring eg. is the gold-smuggling at MIA and I’m extremely disappointed to note that you have made it your SOLE mission to copy-paste the names of those idiots apprehended. However, knowing very well that you have NO OTHER mission in life besides copy-pasting, I quite sympathize and empathize with your precarious plight! I can ONLY hope and pray that the moment will come to pass – & soon that too! You see, your wellness of being is of paramount importance to me! Darn! I need my daily dose of jokes! Oh well, don’t blame me for my selfish motives! I’m quite addicted to your jokes and am candid enough to admit that I simply can’t survive for long sans them. And then, once you indulge in your life’s SOLE mission, you can’t resist from patting yourself on the back while muttering to yourself as you type – Wow! What a brilliant post (when he means to say – ‘Joke”).. my posts are far superior.. I have superior ‘analytical’ skills…. lah dee dah. (Lol! for copy-pasting names served on a platter to you?). 🙂 And for reasons best known to you, you have to bring in my allegedly rejected Yumreeki visa, call me a Sanathannna Dharma hater – despite swearing on bended knees that you are an atheist (who ONLY happens to believe), Abru’s Biryani packets and those blessed statues at Murudeshwara and wind-up with ‘RIP Germany/Europe’. 🙂 And then you HAVE this obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) to pat yourself on the back all over again! The objective of launching an Association of Catholic Caterers to achieve High Standards, encourage /support Entrepreneurship the community and find solutions to common issues of the business is laudable. But any exhortation that the community keep out caterers from other communities is obnoxious to a progressive community, retrograde, and would be counter productive for the community in the long run especially in other spheres of business, trade and industry. I have a few simple questions to the Leaders who spoke on the occasion: Can catholics get elected to public offices with votes from Catholics only? Are catholic businessmen running their businesses successfully/profitably on the support of catholics only? Why do our educational institutions admit larger number of non christians than Catholic/christians? • From A. S. Mathew on Udupi: Easter Celebrated with Faith and Devotion

The President of India delivered the Easter Greetings emphasizing the humanity of JESUS CHRIST and to follow that for peace in the world. Once Saul was totally dedicated to destroy the new revolution of love preached by JESUS CHRIST; greatly enjoyed the bloody martyrdom of the first martyr Stephen. Later on Saul had the encounter of the resurrected CHRIST with a sharp question ” why do you persecute me”? Now Paul’s life was totally dedicated to spread the gospel and he said ” I am not ashamed of the gospel “. The same person wrote to the believers in Corinth ” AND IF CHRIST HAS NOT BEEN RAISED, YOUR FAITH IS FUTILE, YOU ARE STILL IN YOUR SINS”. I Cor 15:17. THE RESURRECTED CHRIST MAKES HIM UNIQUE. OUR FAITH IN HIM MAKE SOLID AND VALID BECAUSE HE IS LIVING TODAY. HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL.

  • From History on No Holiday on Good Friday/Easter in Christian Country called America

The US is secular. The European ran away from England during the Christian persecution to the New World. The English King wanted to be King to the New Land too as provisioned by Christianity. They fought a war against the Christian King of England. That is why US european afraid of Christianity. Christianity at that time means accepting King and priests as superior. There is no Christian King in the US. Everyone is created equal in democracy thus there is no use for Christianity.

  • From John Crasta on No Holiday on Good Friday/Easter in Christian Country called America

This may be disappointing. What is more important than a holiday is to realize the full potential of Good Friday and Easter cannot be understood without understanding the meaning of “Redemption” There is a misconception among some that Jesus died on the cross for forgiveness of sins and all our sins are forgiven and we can avoid hell as long we profess to be Christians. This is not so and here below are my views. Jesus defeated Satan by his death and resurrection. But book of revelation 20:1-3 tells us that Satan has been given some time and as such Satan’s dominion over us still in force untill the last day. Redemption means paying a ransom. The blood Jesus shed on the cross for forgiveness of sins is the price paid for securing exit from the dominion of Satan . Since this price was paid for the forgiveness of sins , the exit from Satan’s dominion can be claimed only through forgiveness of since by Jesus. In this lies the very understanding of the first commandment ( Exodus 20:2-3) and message of salvation(Lk 24:47) We Christians must always remember not to condemn anybody ( Lk 6:37 ) and on the contrary we are encouraged to pray to God (Jn 6:44) to “reveal his Son Jesus Christ to the entire humanity and grant them eternal life

America is a Christian country? Interesting – I didn’t know. May be, I missed a little passage in the constitution!! @ Jihaadi Shaikh – Don’t try your taqiyya tricks here. This is not about Smirit Iraani. If this article proves anything, it is that India has more respect towards religious minorities than US. Also, take a look at the list of public holidays in your country Paakistan. They declared Dec 25th as a holiday to celebrate Jinnah’s birthday, not as Christmas. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_holidays_in_Pakistan
