“A nation of fools can survive, but a nation of traitors wont. Here in India there are traitors who look like intellectuals to a common man” – Report quoting Brigadier IN Rai It’s just a matter of time before Congress supporters (beef club and other minority groups) and the cronies in media start attacking this retired Brigadier for speaking truth. Brigadier is 100% right. Look at those who are supporting pro-Pakistaan activities at JNU. It’s the same people who hate Hindus. The same groups are also known for their anti-RSS, Anti-West, Anti-American sentiments. They will try everything possible to stop any conversation on true terrorism!! I wonder how long this anti-national groups will continue before they face the music.

Why are they shouting slogans in Hindi when they are in Mangalooru? What’s up with this ‘azaadi’ thing? Are they aping those despicable JNU characters? At least, they are getting better – I don’t see any azaadi for kashmeer or pakistan zindaabad slogans at this event!!! What’s up with all the ‘black’ dress? It’s hard not to see a connection with another notorious organization that has the same affection towards black flags and dress!!! Finally, everybody knows that ‘komu souhaarda vedike’ is a code word for anti-sanaathana, anti-brahmana groups whose only goal is to attack Hindu groups and traditions while acting as apologists for all the bad behavior by real trouble makers. No wonder AS Beef Mathew fully agrees with this group as they all share same hindu-dhwesha!!!

The person who claimed Afzal Guru as her hero and demanded that his dead body should be handed over to construct a monument to him in Kashmir is Mehboobaa Mufti. Modi has sent RSS leader Ram Madhav to Srinagar and he has told her that the BJP has accepted all her demands and surrendered to this woman who praised Afzal Guru as hero of Kashmir. He is camping there since 45 days wooing her. All this Afzal Guru bashing by Modi and Irani in India is nothing but shedding crocodile tears. Just to form a coalition government in Kashmir the very same people are making love with the supporters of terrorists! For political power these power mongers are prepared to hug her, for whom Afzal Guru is a hero and patriot. Why this “nautanki”? What nonsense are these RSS stooges blurt about?

  • From A. S. Mathew on Udupi: India Heading Towards Fascism – G Rajshekar

There is no question that, based on the emerging ruthless attitude of the current government towards the freedom of speech which is the fundamental right in every democratic country in the world, India is shifting towards fascism and anarchy. Now it is felt very strongly in the minds of the Indian electorate, but the same thing is being watched with greater alarm and reservation in the foreign lands too. The current Government in New Delhi is an instituted Gujarathi imperialism. They make their own laws bypassing the rule of law and the well written U.N. charter in which India has signed. The Finance Minister has been turned as the omniscient law giver of India now.

Rahul is a immature man. It is very hard to figure out why he is supporting some one like Afzal Guru and what kind of relation he has with such traitors. BJP is afraid of Rahul and that is why he is not allowed to speak in the Parliament. Even Congress is afraid when he talks because it fears of loosing whatever little leverage it has in Indian politics.

Thanks, Mr. Harold D’Souza, for your timely visit to India and sharing your viewpoints on Human Trafficking. In these changing times and with growing population all over the world it is obvious that Economic challenges confront every one in every part of the world. Whichever country we have visited, Human trafficking has become a common tendency, and it has become part of the reality of the ‘real world’. Whether you are involved in the High Society or in the Industrial Society; or for that matter even in the Prison Society, the Human trafficking has become a “survival of the fittest” where humanity is exploited for individual or group objectives. It’s a sad phenomena but it’s a fact of life.

If it wasn’t for the accidental exposure of his face, the staff wouldn’t have caught this man at all. The security camera is of no use when the face is fully covered. This is exactly why many reasonable people and institutions wanted to ban this dress in public places for security reasons. Now, you have to be an ignoramus of gigantic proportion to believe that this was an isolated incident. This probably happens everyday to hide true identity and get questionable things done while using ‘religious freedom’ as an excuse. Those who tried to warn were immediately branded as ‘moral police’ by minority groups and clueless media. You have nothing but your own ignorance to blame!!

I really love it when today’s media makes every effort to link a random incident to Hindu groups. – Rampa Rampa, one HAS to call a spade, right? So, what are you cribbing about? Anyway, take a look at this (Disclaimer: Certain words/phrases may cause severe allergy reaction in pr-RSS supporters): In 2014, BJP ostensibly came to power on a platform of development and good governance. However, with every passing day the real agenda is being revealed, namely, a right-wing “culture jihad”. This will not surprise those who closely follow BJP politics, but it is confounding ordinary Indians who voted for a charismatic politician they hoped would quickly improve their lives. The comic and tragic interventions of the government in JNU hide a deeper issue – the governing party’s primary aim of ideological confrontation. From the day it came into office, the NDA government and Sangh Parivar alongside have made their politics fairly apparent. The appointment of Smriti Irani as Minister for Human Resource Development was a signal of its intentions: a person with no experience in education policy but considerable experience in ideological-cultural warfare was chosen to lead the political battle against the left and liberals. http://blogs.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/toi-edit-page/bjps-culture-jihad-acche-din-are-nowhere-in-sight-india-is-being-polarised-and-pulverised-as-never-before/?utm_source=TOInewHP_TILwidget&utm_campaign=TOInewHP&utm_medium=Widget_Stry

Well, I am glad that our journalists are finally waking up to the reality of how they are being bullied into silence by Congress party and its minority vote bank. The decades of bullying and harassment combined with quite frankly some amount of ignorance and intellectual laziness have turned our ‘journalists’ into a group of voiceless professionals known for ‘taking orders’ from Congress party. They show their ‘courage’ only when it comes to attacking RSS/BJP!! There are many truly brave and dynamic individuals in journalism who are being discouraged from doing their duty. In this process, journalism has lost a great deal of respect in the eyes of people. Once again, I am glad to see some journalists realizing the situation and showing some true courage. Good luck!!

Dear Madam, When you do yoga, you invoke and worship strange spirits violating the First Commandment. Catholics who do yoga out of ignorance must be educated not to sin against Our Lord. At last the man had the courage to admit facts of life rather than be in denial! he still is not absolved of the huge debt from Kingfisher Airlines? Vittal Mallya the founder was a frugal and a wise man. I don’t think he ever envisioned that this would have been the situation under his son’s leadership. This clearly proves that ego can really bring down a man down to his knees! Perhaps starting Kingfisher Airlines was the greatest mistake? The lesson here is that ego can come to haunt one in the end!

    • From Nelson Lewis on End of Good Times! Liquor Baron Vijay Mallya Quits as Chairman of United Spirits

Mr. B. Dinesh, You are right when you say that Vittal Mallya was a frugal and simple man. In the in-company magazine of United Breweries or Herbertsons Ltd. that I read in 1985 after Vittal Mallya’s death, the comments of his driver appeared in it. He said that when Vittal Mallya handed over Rs. 100 to him for purchases, he would take a proper account. His son, Vijay Mallya reminds me of the Greek shipping tycoon, Aristotle Onassis, who married John Kennedy’s widow Jacqueline Kennedy, founded the Olympic Airways, owned the biggest tanker fleet and was fond of women, antiques, throwing glamorous parties and inviting the rich and powerful. He had a yacht “Christina” and an island “Skorpious”.

Here are some clarifications around the ignorant statements made by Saudi-returned, US-rejected Praveena Pinto. Hope it helps him. 1. NOBODY shoots down blacks and Hispanics. (When minorities have no rights and treated like slaves, where is the need to shoot them down? LOL Why do you think I kept referring to your stay as ‘aadu jeevitham’? LOL LOL) 2. NOBODY will mug you. (Again, what is there to mug when people are living like slaves? Why mug someone when they don’t even have their own passports, let alone iPhones!!! LOL ) 3. Crime is almost unheard of. ( The word ‘crime’ has a different definition in gulf region as compared to civilized world. Minorities have no rights. Women and gays have no rights. No democracy or transparent systems. No equal opportunities. Forced marriages and rapes. When all these things are part of the ‘culture’, how can there be any crime?? LOL ) 4. Nobody goes and invades sovereign lands on some pretext or other. (Agree – there is some bright side to a society that has no intellectual or military superiority..All they do is abuse their own people …LOL )

  • From A. S. Mathew on Death and Dying!

Great article to draw attention for the readers in their perpetual and restless marching of life to hoard everything they see in the world without realizing that, it is appointed unto every human being once to die. There are thousands of Universities around the world but not even a single University as yet established to teach the course of ” death”. I am now running on 71, until five years back while everything was running smoothly, the subject of death never caught my attention. Thank GOD, when compared with a lot of my friends, many of them have left for eternity and yet a few of them are suffering with physical disabilities and maladies in many parts of the body; I wake up without the help of anybody and give thanks to GOD for another day. For Warren Buffet, the 2nd richest man in the world leading a very ordinary life and giving away his wealth for the suffering world, his great fear is death. Do we need to fear death? When I talk with some of my friends who were rushing for material hoarding, they lost a great share of their wealth, now take time to listen spiritual topics. As the author has clearly stated, to have peace and joy of life and to say good bye to each day with a spirit and attitude of content, be more spiritual and JESUS CHRIST can give the strength to enjoy every day with happiness. Besides, when we are acting like good neighbors as taught by JESUS CHRIST, our happiness can be doubled. While spending time watching the last days and funerals of certain people in the world, great lesson can be learned. When Ghadafi, the autocratic ruler of Libya was caught from inside a tunnel infected with rats, he was mishandled too terribly, and killed by shooting one at the head and five in the body. While in power, he enjoyed torturing his enemies, even plucking the eyes of the enemies. Out of his eight children, five of them were killed. When he died, he was the richest man in the world with $ 200 billion, but his burial was in the standard of a homeless beggar. While watching the funerals of Mahatma Gandhiji and Mother Teresa, what kind of a royal funeral it was? Mother Teresa’s funeral was watched by 1/3 of the world population, more than 2 billion people live. What was the difference in between the rich and poor at the funeral? Another lesson to be learned that material gains have no value at the time of death.

    A. S. Mathew Personally, I would not react to anyone who is writing history the way perhaps he would wanted it to be, and going by the comments from some in this forum, there seems to be a strong market to reprint. Since Savarkar claims that Keshao Krishna a Tamil Hindu Brahmin was indeed Jesus, and Jesus came and left over 2000 years ago, what is the source of his information. Did he live during that period? Was he one of his apostles? Did he get a revelation or was he delusional? He clearly did not live during that time, so how is he connecting the dots apparently with conviction? or was his writings fiction, or just blah, blah, blah. Hence, if Savarkar wrote a story, and there are people who will take his comments seriously then I stand by my comment ………..someone needs to see a doctor, and may I add …ASAP.

Dear readers, There is one book called ‘Bunch of thoughts’ continue to intoxicating the brains of larger section of Hindus. Now the history is repeated targeting the Christian minorities using Jesus(Peace be upon him) reprinting the hysteria of Sangh parivar. According to the latest discovery of RSS & Co or better we can say the latest edition of the ‘Dictionary of Hindutva’ Macaulayism, Missionaries, Materialism, Marxism and Muslim extremism are the five biggest threats to Hindutva in India .In their code word these five threats are called Malicious-5 or M5 Marxism, Muslim extremism, Missionaries : RSS lists out 5 biggest enemies of Hindutva http://www.firstpost.com/india/macaulayism-to-muslim-extremism-hindutvas-many-enemies-in-india-1819099.html Marxism, according to the paper, is the thumb of the demon’s claw. This thumb has given birth to multiple bastard offspring like communists, socialists, liberals, Maoists, anarchists and all other forms of Leftists. Macaulayism entails perverted psychology to scrutinise, interpret and evaluate Hindu culture, history, society and spirituality with the help of concepts evolved by western scholarship. This creates a worshipful attitude towards everything in western society in the name of progress, reason and science. For many JNU or Verumala suicide campus related controversy is not very well understood. But RSS political wing BJP, communist rule state of West Bengal and Kerala bound for election matters were drift of Congress vote and communist legacy will be finished in one arrow. The Christian in North East,Goa need to be extra caution in coming days ,who has seen spike in Church attacks in BJP and alliance ruled state. Jai Hind

Karnataka will continue to look like a third-word country without any decent infrastructure.-Atheist Mr.Original Pai Sir,A political ally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was shouted down on Tuesday by a crowd angered by rioting in Haryana that destroyed businesses, paralysed transport and cut water supplies to metropolitan Delhi. The chief minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar was heckled by local people in the town of Rohtak after they objected to his comments promising that they would receive compensation. Angry victims heckle Haryana CM after Jat riots kill 19 http://in.reuters.com/article/india-protests-jat-reservation-idINKCN0VW0C2 Modi has remained silent through the worst social unrest of his 20 months in office.Disruption has been huge, with at least 850 trains cancelled, 500 factories closed and business losses estimated at as much as $5 billion by one regional lobby group. India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki, shut two factories at the weekend because its supply of components was disrupted. WATCH: People affected by #Jatreservation protests raise ‘murdabad’ slogans against Haryana Government in Rohtak Now PM Modi’s ‘Good governance’ is finally bowed to Jat violence. If student in university those who are shouting will be booked under sedition charges. Now Patidar agitation will be boosted with Jat reservation. Will Modi’s government will cut a deal young Patidar leader with 1,200 crores package or continued push behind bar like JNU student leader Kanhiya. TV channels who made incidents in which no person was killed in the past, a national issue, were no long passing judgments about ‘anti-national’ agitation or ‘war against state’. Even though army was attacked and the agitation affected water supply to Delhi, it was not ‘anti-State’ in media. Such was the anger among protesters that for probably the first time, Army was seen carrying placards of ‘Army’. Who are the masterminds of Jat violence in Haryana: No names, no arrests, no anti-nationals though property worth Rs $5 destroyed? No search for ‘masterminds’,no arrest of culprits:words like ‘anti-nationals’ or ‘antaki’ is not used in Haryana. To surprising Army in action less than 24 hours, while in ‘Godhra Model’ it surprising 3 days. Now Rajdeep Sardesai may take sigh of relief is not alone got heckled. Is Times Now Arnab Goswami is meditation? Will show his same hysteria for anti state violence in the name of reservation? This huge cyber army is now capable of making any non-issue into an issue. • From Horny Manatee on Karnataka Panchayat polls: Congress leads, BJP second, JD(S) third

There are many good things to be said about the West, the reason they have been developed in the last century. In the West, the local elections such as this are hardly a mainstream event. People on their way to work or on their way back visit the local polling station to cast their vote (that too if they choose to) and soon there will be counting and the following morning there will be some news coverage to analyse the results. That’s it. Nobody gets extra holiday or has a reason to get worked up over it for months. None of the State machinery comes to a grinding halt just for the polling reason. In other words, nobody spends such massive resources or wastes times on such silly elections. There is strict monitoring of how much money people spend on campaigns. Contrast this with what is happening on our turf. Every insignificant election is projected as a major political event in people’s lives, the parties spend millions on canvassing and creating media buzz. The same campaign money would likely have been stolen by the political parties through various scams and people seems to be really happy about it. The same money could have been spent on something constructive, improving crumbling infrastructure or for that matter, these time-wasters’ labour could have been utilised for something good for the society. In India (particularly in our state) whenever there is a election (be it local, state or national), for the whole of the quarter the government machinery stops their daily work. For any work you want to do in a government office, they cite election duty as the excuse. Even the legislature does not work as it should. But does anyone even bother to look at it that way? That’s why we continue to be a banana republique of the highest order.

Just go thru the below site http://www.huffingtonpost.com/simcha-jacobovici/jesus-marriage-to-mary-th_b_6225826.html The above link is not from India or any Hindu person. Any one who is interested can know the background. It says that Jesus was married and had a son called Judah. Its total intolerance on the part of any one to judge on the basis of one book written 70 years ago that all the Hindus are cooking up stories. Simcha Jacobovici did a lot of research before “cooking up” the above story.!!

Indian Christian intellectuals have failed to develop a coherent intellectual critique of Hindu nationalism. Hindu nationalist ‘historian’ PN Oak claimed the Taj Mahal was originally a Shiva temple. Oak’s history was obviously intended to taunt Indian Muslims. Ganesh Savarkar’s outlandish theories would never make the news if the BJP government was not in power in Maharashtra. The book is intended to taunt Indian Christians.

  • From Nelson Lewis on Savarkar's Book says Christ was Hindu Tamilian Brahmin- Christian Sentiments Hurt

Ganesh Savarkar, the brother of illustrious or, shall we say, notorious Veer Savarkar should have been a fiction writer and he would have done well to afford shrikand puri, batata poha, puran poli, bhaji and oosa sa ras and pay bills. His claims on Jesus Christ are very outlandish and a figment of imagination. I would strongly urge the Roman Catholic and other Christian Organisations to kindly ignore this book, which is supposed to be published in a day or two as a rantings of a man who has a hole in his head. Otherwise, outcry and hysteria will arouse people’s curiosity and his book will become popular and sold like hot cakes and his kith and kin will make plenty of dough. Take for instance, The Satanic Verses and Mein Kampf. In fact, Mein Kampf was dictated by Adolph Hitler to Rudolf Hess, when both of them were in prison, because it is alleged that the former was poor in writing (German), but was a orator par excellence. Ganesh Savarkar’s brother, Veer Savarkar, who had been sentenced to serve lifer in Andamans (Kala Pani), wilted and begged with the British authorities to be released. After release he master-minded the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, but escaped conviction for the simple reason that being a lawyer, he hatched the plot very well leaving no evidence or footprints for the prosecution to prove his involvedment. Others, had to face the noose or spend time in the slammer. Jesus Christ was a Palestinian who travelled extensively in that region and had nothing to do with India, be it Kashmir or Tamil Nadu. Some bright spark has mentioned that Jesus Christ was a vegetarian. How sweet and inventive? How preposterous of Ganesh Savarkar to say that Palestine and Arabia were once Hindus and Hindu land and amongst literates, only the stupids will fall for it.

Sad. – Murudeshwara Rampa Hello Rampa saaru, this is a MUST read for a die-hard Srimaana Sir Modi’ji. http://www.catchnews.com/politics-news/where-are-the-achhe-din-5-promises-that-have-come-back-to-haunt-narendra-modi-1440531049.html After the BJP won the elections with a full majority on 16 May, 2014, a Modi fan fainted with happiness and went into coma. After 15 months, he suddenly came out from the coma. Returning to his senses he asked the following questions to the attending doctor. How do you feel in “corruption free India”? Are Rahul and Sonia Gandhi in jail or have they escaped to Italy? Should I book a bullet train ticket to Lucknow or should I go by plane How much black money did we get back from Swiss Banks? After the Rs 15 lakh every Indian received from Modiji, there must be “no poverty”. Has the US dollar dropped to Rs 35? How happy are Indians after Modiji subsidised cooking gas, vegetables, tomatoes, onions and potatoes? After Pakistan got frightened and returned Dawood Ibrahim, what happened to him? Are farmers happy now that the land forcibly acquired by the Congress, has been returned to them? Have the Armed Forces got One Rank One Pension? Listening to these questions, the poor doctor has gone into a coma, and the Modi fan was sent to a mental asylum. ——————————————————————- Now can you see how your Party with a supposed ‘Differenced played-up to the majority vote bank in your Akhanda Bharatha? And oh, Rampa, didn’t THE great visionary from the BJP say sometime before the elections of 2014 – “In 1947 1 IRS = 1 USD. Now, 1 USD = Finance Ministers age?” By golly! Hasn’t the Indian rupee overtaken Venkiah Naidu’s age of 66 and is inching closer than ever to 70? ಎಂಚಿನ ಪೂರಾ ಪುಗೆ ಬುಡ್ಪ್ ಮಾರಾಯ?

“Christ was Hindu Tamilian Brahmin- Christian Sentiments Hurt” – report. There are questions as to if this historic figure actually lived or not. Even if he did, the notion that sanathana brahmana from south india was behind Christianity is a total imagination. On a different note, why are the sentiments hurt based on a book that was published 70 yrs ago? I know that there are religious holy books who call sanaathana gods as ‘false gods’. Does it mean that we need to ban printing those religious books as well? Just curious.

If these wayward people are trying to make their own version of history to fit their whim and fancy, and to hurt the Christian community, let it be done: Srimiti Irani tried to eradicate the Christmas from the Indian calendar in 2014, and to insert the birth of Vajpayee; what a terrible joke it was? Did she win, can ever win? The Hindu religion, is it a religion or a way of life? All the religions of the world except Hinduism, they had prophets and founders, one main holy book. Can Savarkar dispute that logic? Some wild harvest will be taking place for this totally diabolical enterprise to defame the deity and unique personality of JESUS CHRIST, simply wait and watch! In the Bible and Quran (the sacred books of 2.3 and 1.6 billion people of the world), also in the holy book of the Bahai faith, the CHRIST’s virgin birth was written clearly. In the sacred book of the Zorostrian (Parsi religion, well known people like Tatas-Zubin Metha-Marshall Sam Manegshaw) in BC 6th century written by its founder “Zoroaster” in their holy book ” Avesta” that a savior will be born to a virgin, who will work as a carpenter, will rise again from death, and will judge everyone in the final day of judgement.

  • From Mangal on Savarkar's Book says Christ was Hindu Tamilian Brahmin- Christian Sentiments Hurt

Don’t know if the NGO man behind the story has conducted some extensive survey among Christians before publishing that the “Christian Sentiments Hurt”. Generally speaking, with Christians belonging to many sects, each of which has no connection with others, any generalisations would be wrong. Some Christian sects take everything written in some ancient books literally. Have you heard of the sect in US where the members must handle live poisonous snakes? I believe some died. Not the snakes, but the believers. Other sects allow the members to take the information in the books more as a guidance, to the extent of allowing interpretation by the individuals. According to these sects, it is the spirit of the faith, rather than the literal text, that matters. It appears to me that the publishers of the book had given an advance copy of the book to the NGO man to generate a huge controversy, so that everyone would buy a copy of the book. Some Indian writers love to bring all world personalities under the Indian umbrella. The number of people on the Internet claiming everything from Saudi shrines, ancient Iraqi construction, Egyptian pyramids and the priests – all of these being “INDIAN/HINDU” – is mind-boggling. Many Indians have claimed that the Australian aborigine languages are Dravidian, with “Aborigine languages having plenty of Tamil words”. Of course, there is no truth in any of these claims. Indians need a few myths and conspiracy theories for a social gathering, or to attract a few visitors to their otheriwse boring web blogs. To establish a serious credible theory, one needs to forget about all the myths and conspiracy theories, and spend years in painstaking research. Obviously Mr Savarkar, the writer of this book, did not spend any time even to learn Tamil. All that I can deduce is that, he found a few Tamil divinity/religious pictures and found some similarities with the Christian images, and wrote a book. PS: Tamil may be at the most 3,500 years old. The forefathers of the Australian Aborigines most likely landed on the Australian continent 30,000 to 60,000 years ago. The only common thing between the two groups is relatively darker skin colour.

One of the biggest business type for people to venture into, with zero investment, is charity. Charity brings in big money. And most countries waive tax on funds collected by the charities. But more contributors do not ever try to find out who the members of the charity trust are! Usually the charities do not disclose the trust members. In those rare instances where you get to find out the details, it is a huge family business. I knew a woman whose brothers and mother were the trust members. And she printed booklets to distribute how she was creating an orphanage, and wanted funds to build a house first. Many charities end up acquiring huge lands. So folks, before you contribute anything, demand information on the trust members and check if they are related.

It is not necessary to highlight the support of Kerala GSB community simply because the victim belong to that community. We all, including GSB, Christian, Muslim, Dalith etc., should stand united and see that such egoistic behavior is not tolerated in a democratic country, where the Constitution explicitly provide checks and balances among Legislative, Judiciary and Administrative branches of the Govt. With all due respect to Mr Hegde it must be pointed out that like him others too have the right to differ with other judgments of the SC. Patriotism is not something to be worn on one’s sleeve. It must be expressed thru one’s actions – respecting the Constitution and our multi-cultural legacy and positive contribution to social harmony and national progress thru all round human development.

The money used is of the tax payers and who will clear the debris. First there was no need to advertise about the concreting the road on the main road. The corporator should remember that next he will get only 50 % of the votes. Leaving all the debris on the road is also bad and dangerous for two wheeler riders with helmet and without helmet. By the time they want to start the other half the excuse will be rains.

As far as I can remember, RTO has always been the mother-ship of corruption in the region. This is not something new. Our elected leaders have intentionally looked other way for reasons one can easily guess!! At the end of the day, we should blame ourselves. The public has overwhelmingly participated in this corruption by doing business with ‘agents’ to get driving licenses and other stuff. We get what we deserve.

Well, another very interesting thing is to read the very familiar and popular names in the comments column like Nelson Lewis-Felix-Gurudath-Praveen and Ramachandra Shetty; we all know each other through writing comments in the Karnataka publications like Mangalorean and Daijiworld; which itself shows that your daughter’s article has caught great attention, also another hidden fact that the society is starving for peace and content in life. Sri. Ramachandra Shetty, you are telling an exposed reality and truth of the society ” “The big problem in our India is if you pick up the garbage and throw it in the dust bin people around will laugh at you”, but it is high time that like minded people who are interested in creating a better society must ignore the laugh of the purposeless people of the society.

Media reports that I.P.S. Officer, Mr. N. Harish, was from the 2009 batch and was holding the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (A.S.P.) and posted in the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, when he allegedly snuffed out his life by committing suicide. I smell a rat and something is fishy. When anyone finishes I.P.S., he gets the probationary posting of A.S.P. (usually in the Superintendent’s Office) and within a short time or months, he is posted as Dy. S.P. Considering that he has six to seven years of service, he should have risen to the post of at least a Junior S.P. of any district in Tamil Nadu. I feel that Mr. Harish was a honest and upright officer and his superiors may have harassed him because he was not willing to blend with the system (thus compromise himself) by being a “haan jee” and he may have been a spanner-in-the-works. Therefore, he may have taken this ultimate step. May his soul rest in peace.

If the law is clearly defined as to what constitutes sedition, then all this mayhem can be put to rest by appealing in the courts, preferably in the apex court. Let the courts decide. There is no need for any political parties to take advantage of the situation. Afzal guru was hung only after the highest court of the land upheld the guilty verdict. So, now under the guise of freedom of expression trying to say the government conducted an extra judicial killing is tantamount to insulting the highest courts. Why the media or the international team of academicians trying to make a issue out of this episode is really interesting. I don’t think the common sense is not being applied here. Freedom of expression is absolute but, paradoxically, it has its limits when it can influence the clueless masses into doing things that are traitorous for the country as a whole. People in the West have learnt their lessons properly in this area. Until 9/11 or 7/7 people in the US and Britain (especially the loony lefty parties) used to tacitly support terrorist ideologies by Muslim extremists. Their argument at that time was that everyone has a right to express their dissent. Left unchecked it went too far and people realised only when the bombs exploded from right underneath their bottom. Now the same lefties have mellowed down their rhetoric a bit as it has become a question of their own survival especially in the face of threats the West is facing due to tension in the Middle East and the resultant refugee crisis. The moment they outnumber the natives, it only takes one election to convert a democracy into a caliphate. It could take another century but it’s well on track. The prospect that the universities are becoming the breeding ground for radical ideologies is deeply worrying. Leftist organisations in India are using the Muslim sympathy and sensibilities to gain popularity. I just wonder what exactly is the purpose of going to college if this is what people are interested in. Where do they find time for such things. Baffling.

The Peacock is also identified with Lakshmi,Goddess of wealth.Lord Krishna adore peacock feathers on his crown are called Mayur pankh. Now Goa BJP Move by India’s popular tourist state could lead to mass culling of the country’s national bird to server them on table. Mr Alfie and Mr Sunil Gonsalves, you know who your Corporator is. That should tell the result of Progress. Look at the Foot Path in front of Rose Cote near Bendoor well Circle. I got it repaired once thru Miss Hepsibha,Ex Commissioner and dug again and left in shamble. Look at the Drain in front of City Hospital between M S Pai and Diners Paradise. That will tell how good your Corporator works. On Arya Samaj road there are so many multi story buildings. Builders will not utter a word because if they did they will suffer in their next building Permit. Check the bottom of the drain and you will see Water Pipes,Drain Pipes,Power and Communication Cables crossing like Spider web. If you people have problem now with digging ,please wait till rain starts. All the floating trash will come and wrap around the Pipes and Cables thus water flow will stop. Then they will start digging again to open up the clog. Look at the back side of MCC Building which will tell the real SAD STORY. Look at the Interlock work in front of MCC Building at ground level. That will tell you,how good will be interlock work on Arya Samaj Road. Keep in mind, this urgent development without a plan is just to get hand on Smart City Money. ADB Loan is available which will be paid by Public. After deducting Black Money to Elected and Public Officials, and some money to Big Banners with special connection rest is for contractor to use as you please. ADB Loan is still not paid by KUDCEMP of Sewer Drain Project. In the name of water, money is robbed from years. Now Sun is Visible to Elected Officials. Now they will rob in name of Solar Power. Mr.Sunil, first find out who the Consultants are for Smart City Project, then you will come to know what result you will get.

Cow Pai: You have indicated earlier that you are an atheist, but now you will have to admit that your god is cow. …so are now enthroned as COW PAI..- Mr. AS Mathew to our Rampa. Hey Rampa, ‘Phynally’, you got ‘baptized’. And so, as our know-all ‘anthima sevaka’ said to his perennially lost faithful Wolverine in Central Park – “May da porce be wid u’. 🙂 Now that ‘da porce is with wid u’, I think that you should open up ALL 16 copies of your ‘GoaaaaalMaaaalkara’s’ Hate book are regurgitate your cud and chew it – on mute. And, you know what ya Yumreeki Rampa? There are many parallels between you and that not-so-young Whippersnapper called Arnaba Goswami. Err, what’s that ‘Naatak’? Some Comedy show which I think passes-off by the name of ‘News Hour’ wherein he lampoons somebody and EVERYBODY – His Mother-in-law included BUT Ram Mandir, Sadvi Pragya Thakur + Colonel Purohit & Podi’ji excluded! On that Comedy show, I have noticed this particular mustachioed Joker called M R Venkatesh. He is supposed to be a ‘panelist’. The fact that he is a BJP stooge is not lost on anybody and everybody. This elitist Joker – he is invited on EVERY darn comedy show of Arnaba and some of the the topics to be dissected encompass: 1. Match Fixing – primarily Cricket, later Tennis and soon – Carroms & Rummy too! 2. Economy Fixing 3. ‘Unprovoked’ firing by the Paki’s from the business end of the LoC 4. Global warming 5. Arvind Adiga’s latest book 6. The BAFTA awards wherein a man who walks and walks and walks and walked……through some miles of snow (The Revenant – 2015) walked-off with an award. (And there, I was thinking that the blessed Bear would win the award for the ‘BESTEST’ Actor! Sigh! (Since when did EVEN my thoughts count?) 7. Priyanka Chopra’s latest Holly venture, Kim Kardashian’s derriere, her (c)rapper hubby’s rants on Twitter. 8. Afzal Guru and the RIGHT temp to bake cookies. 9. ISIS & the Migrant crisis in Europe 10. And almost EVERY CRISIS around….. 11. Bernie Sanders or Hilarious Clintu 12. The price of Gold and pulses (in India) 13. Gold smuggling at MIA 14. …….. Rampa…. fill in the blanks, mate… AND, on almost EVERY comedy show, our Arnaba screams – MR(I) Venkatesh.. MR(I) Venkatesh… MRI Venku.. And our MR(I) Venku bleats (a Chartered accountant by profession and I guess business is very bad – or else, he wouldn’t give a CA’s opinion on Kim K’s posterior dimensions), he DELIVERS the RIGHT (as per Arnaba) answer! BINGO.. spot on…. man.. he knows it ALL. Arnaba kush. MRI dil-kush! And i was thinking – HEY, I know this guy! We have a parallel – Pyarelal Original Yumreeki Rampu’ji. RIGHT from Murudeshwara statues to Beef…. from gold smuggled thru MIA to CIA… from my allegedly rejected (crappy) US visa to Thyampanna Poojari Novina yenne… aah.. our Rampu knows ALL. MRI Venkatesh/originaalige Rampu.. (da country wants to know) MRI Venku.. (You are on NATIONAL Television) -(Say, Mr. BN Pai – are such claims grounds for pressing charges for sedition)? Dear readers, The Modi government itself quietly doffed its hat at JNU today, appointing a former professor from the institution, Yogesh Tyagi, the new vice-chancellor of Delhi University. The Union HRD ministry announced the appointment of Tyagi, who did his PhD in legal studies at JNU. Modi’s mates, made in JNU- People the govt would’ve missed http://www.telegraphindia.com/1160216/jsp/nation/story_69589.jsp#.VsT1KfJ97IV BJP president Amit Shah today blamed a “Leftist ideological inspiration” for the slogans students allegedly raised last week. But Sitharaman, who was a member of the Free Thinkers group during her time in JNU, had in a 2009 interview to the university alumni wing lavished credit on the university for inspiring “anything I am today.” “JNU most certainly provided me the best opportunity to participate in all sorts of debates and to think in a different way,” Sitharaman told the alumni newsletter. “I must say that JNUites do things differently, wherever they are, and that’s how they stand out.” Commerce minister Nirmala Sitharaman and department of industrial policy and promotion secretary Amitabh Kant – the force behind Prime Minister Modi’s “Make in India” campaign -are both JNU graduates. Foreign secretary S. Jaishankar and deputy national security adviser Arvind Gupta, both handpicked by Modi, earned their PhDs at JNU. The university is alma mater to Syed Asif Ibrahim, the former Intelligence Bureau chief who was appointed by Modi last year as his special envoy on counter-terrorism, with a focus on West Asia. And at least 15 Indian ambassadors currently serving abroad, and three division heads in the ministry of external affairs – tasked with protecting India’s strategic and diplomatic interests – studied at JNU. As the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) row began, the home minister said the event held in the university campus was supported by Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, the patron of Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Tayyeba (LeT).Rajnath Singh has found himself in an embarassing spot over his comments putting baseless allegation from the responsible position for a such reputable institute in which BJP many mentors are graduated. It is shameful that BJP’s devise politics has not even spared the campus. How will investor will appeased who are invited with fancy slogan of ‘Make in India’ ,start up India’? Jai Hind

He was old, probably in sixties or seventies, and pleading with people passing by to spare change or currency. He appeared to be one who had attended the Business Management Institute for Beggary because he spoke well and was pleading with people to give money by saying, “Please help me by contributing generously for a just cause. I do not have parents, siblings or girl-friends. My life is pathetic and I have to take care of myself. I am in difficulties.” How sweet and funny? At this age, he expects his parents to be alive and aspires to have fun and frolic with girl-friends.” Probably, he is living on a diet comprising milk, dates, cashew nuts, aphrosidiacs and chotta pegs. Among the religions of the world, all of them have one main sacred holy book. But in the many sacred books written by Maharshis in the Hindu religion down through the centuries, revealing great principles of truth and the final victory of truth; but hardly none of these politicians have a copy of those books, but they create their own Hindu philosophy and hot topics as well as objects to brainwash the gullible public with emotional mega charging; thus taking advantage. There are some people mainly in north India, they will not allow meat eating people to their homes since they are unholy; yet some educated people will not even use a pen used by the meat eating people. Is that a contradiction, beef export is increasing from India, beef eaters in India are afraid of eating beef, but the General is hugging the beef eaters around the world. Whether it is India or the United States – whether it is China or Canada – our utility services, sewage services, telephone lines, gas lines, water lines and the constant repair of pot holes require timely action. In a country such as India the usage of all areas will continue to rise because the demand is rising by the day. We have to have patience in each and every step that our City or Municipality takes in modifying all the above facilities in pursuit of expanding and improving the existing infrastructure. Our only grievance in India is that pot holes remain unattended, and our constant repair necessities are postponed day by day. In the meantime there is no presence of anyone doing anything that is needed to be done promptly and instantaneously. The authorities have to provide timely barriers and signs showing the repair work going on, and during peak hours the Government should provide additional manpower to guide the ever increasing traffic. Please therefore wake up and give the very best to the people that elect you and place confidence in you. This is the best way to help others while we help our own power of authority. Thank you.

Dear Ms. Pallavi Dumblekar, I read your article and I liked it very much. Please write regularly and express your thoughts. Different people have different views and opinions of how they should lead their lives. Despite the high growth rate of our economy, the per capita income is just hovering at or around US $ 7,000/- and we have a few extremely rich people at one end of the scale and hundreds of millions are living in poverty and do not know where their next meal will come from. In short, there are acute disparities in wealth, which is not good and fraught with danger, especially when people are hungry, lacking accommodation, opportunities for education and recreational pursuits. Nevertheless, most people having inexhaustibe wealth earned legitimately or otherwise, like to lead opulent and ostentatious lifestyle by zipping around in fancy vehciles on substandard Indian roads, living in palatial houses in metroplises like Delhi, Bombay, etc., where every square foot costs mind-boggling sums (depriving needy of housing space, water, electricity, etc.), wearing or using designer or branded goods, eating in fancy restaurants or outlets, inviting countless people for social events, etc. All this they do to impress upon the world the wealth they have. In order to enhance their power and influence, they are goody, goody with politicians and splurge lots of monies in donations, bribes, etc. in order to have them in their back pockets or wallets. I like to donate to some poor man whatever little I can offer Though I may not get anything from him, but I am assured that this man will remember me (for giving him a good feed, paying his son’s tuition fees) all his life and pray for my welfare from his heart. I believe in leading a simplle, uncomplicated and low profile life, rather than acting as a flunkey or indulging in boot-licking and interviewing a wealthy man, who has acquired wealth and purchased awards and writing about him in glowing terms (without having done sa background check). Whatever you do for an affluent man, he does not remember simply because countless people give him countless things and since he is living in a materialistic world, he is never happy and hankering for latest gadgets, gizmos, etc. whenever they come in the market in India or abroad in order to keep his status in society and show off his wealth. However, I do not wish to paint all millionaires or billionaires black with the same brush. There are some exceptional personalities like Bill Gates, Rattan Tata, Warren Buffet, Narayana Murthy, Azeem Premji and others, who do lots in charities and lead simple lives considering their enormous wealth. I enjoy working on my laptop, surfing the Internet, reading and writing. However, I still remember the celebrities I was privileged to meet. My only regret in life was not meeting Dr. A.P.J. Kalam and Mother Teresa. I am not interested in meeting Indian pliticians, as they are sleazy, rhino-skinned, shameless, disgrace to th human race and rather than serving the people, they seve themselves, their families, their relations and let the country go to the dogs.

Whatever your figures stand for – WHY are they are they at odds with figures posted by the Govt AND published religiously by ‘India’s 3rd World Media’ (that is – if our Yumreeki Originaalige RamPai is to be believed). Don’t believe me? Well, take a look, sir Nelson: ———————————————————————————————— New Delhi: India’s per capita income during 2015-16 is likely to grow by 6.2 per cent to Rs 6,452.58 per month, government data showed on Monday. “The per capita income in real terms (at 2011-12 prices) during 2015-16 is likely to attain a level of Rs 77,431 as compared to Rs 72,889 for the year 2014-15”, as per the data released by the Central Statistics Office (CSO). Also, the per capita net national income during 2015-16 is estimated to be growing at 7.3 per cent to Rs 7,769.25 per month as against Rs 7,239.92 per month in the previous fiscal. “The per capita net national income during 2015-16 is estimated to be Rs 93,231, showing a rise of 7.3 per cent, as compared to Rs 86,879 during 2014-15 with the growth rate of 9.4 per cent”, according to the data. http://profit.ndtv.com/news/economy/article-per-capita-income-seen-slightly-up-at-rs-6-453-month-in-fy16-1275190 ——————————————————————————– Oh well, at current rates, a per capita income of 93,231 IRS = USD 1,361.26. So, is it ANYWHERE near that preposterous figure of USD 7,000 as you claim? Any rebuttals? Any proof? Over to you, sir. And I honestly hope that you won’t allege stuff – like our very much beloved Yumreeki Rampa – stuff such as: 1. My allegedly rejected Yumreeki Visa. 2. Murudeshwara Statues 3. Flatulence…. I mean.. Intolerance in RSS governed Akhanda Bharatha (aka – India) 4. My alleged stay in O. Rampa’s sasuraal – in Saudi – tending to his flock – his beloved ‘Aadu’s’ -to be specific. —————————————————————————— Well, some SOLID FACTS have been presented to you to mull over, Herr Nelson. Analyze them against whatever you claim. AND, I just hope your ridiculous figure doesn’t stick & writhe like a raw & wriggling mullet down a parched gullet! ——————————————————————————— Hope to hear some word about this before I wish you – ‘Guten Morgen, Herr Nelson’. 🙂

I have.. and I do.. and as sure as I’m breathing, I will continue to do so. So, no issues at all. If and whenever I err, I hope somebody will point it out and I will always continue to be gracious enough to accept stuff and be open to correction. But then, some others err precisely to the point of fault (case in example – our Yumreeki Pal called Original RampaNNA). In such exemplary cases, erring is the norm instead of being the exception! AND, I’m quite positive that you concluded the same by the way he covers his backside with a tattered copy of the NY Times when he is cornered/erred and brazens it out – JUST like his RSS masters. Anyway, he is lying low for the moment. After all, his RSS jokers have been exposed with their agenda and it is ALL out in the open regarding that pathetic ‘sedition’ case against a hapless student. Sigh! Our Rampu. 🙁

To my surprise, the taste was so good that it will put Baskin Robins or Ben and Jerry’s of USA to shame! I am not exaggerating. The bad part was that people were waiting outside to get in but I had to wait for 10 minutes to get my check even after demanding it. Staff should be trained to be faster. Also, charge a rupee more, but give napkins along with ice-cream and not along with the check.

Dear Readers, Just yesterday, I completed reading “Courage and Conviction” by Gen. Vijay Kumar Singh, the ex-Chief of Army Staff and presently a Minister of State in the BJP Government. This book is very exciting and I became aware of some things that I was not aware earlier and the government’s neglect, especially during the UPA reign. Though, amongst all government organizations, the military or services are the best, nevertheless when arms and ammunitions purchases are involved, there are allegations that arms manufacturers and their agents enthusiastically offer kickbacks for selling arms that are either substandard or do not meet the military’s specifications. Politicians, generals and bureaucrafts are ready to compromise themselves to line their pockets. Such is the level of patriotism for the country. Remember, two four-star generals or ex-Army Chiefs got allotment of quarters that were earmarked for Kargil war widows. Forget the ex-Chief Minister, other policians and bureaucrafts. Gen. Singh speaks about the Chinese clashes with the Vietnamese forces in 1979, when the latter has sent their army to Cambodia to fight and counter terrorists there. At that juncture, the Red Dragon had mobilized and encroached Vietnam with 400,000 troops and just 70,000 Vietnamese faced them and inflicted heavy casualities on them. By that time, the Chinese withdrew and did not want to face the bulk of the Vietnamese returning to reinforce their defences and challenge the Red Dragon. It is high time that the armed forces are treated with respect and give their dues and it is also high time that the Black Cat Commandoes are kept completely under the purview of the military and the corrupt and uncouth politicians are protected by the police or retired soldiers from the Gurkha or any other regiments. That should serve their purpose

Dear readers, Doesn’t it look like something similar is happening around us? Good and bad. The patriot and the anti-national. Pro-India and anti-India. Anyone who raises questions, with logic and reason, to the authority is considered an enemy. Put aside, boxed, and then perished – as was witnessed at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) last Tuesday evening. A group of scholars had come together to raise questions and express their right to speak, under the open sky. Playing victim in politics is an essential strategy for growth. Everyone in the BJP reached their positions by projecting herself or himself as a targeted party. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constant pillorying by adversaries enabled supporters to project him as the “most vilified” political leader in India. The sympathy generated in the wake of such presentation contributed significantly to Modi’s success in leading the BJP to its spectacular performance in the Lok Sabha elections in 2014. The shoe is now on the other foot and the ruling establishment is seeing anti-national activity in every form of protest. Bharat Mata, instead of being the strong and robust nation that it should be, is constantly being painted as a touch-me-not. We live in a time where the RSS whose member assassinated Father of nation Mahatma Gandhi will now give us lessons in patriotism. Is ‘Digital India’ is the new movement of government to suppress the voice? Afzal Guru’s story – in his own words http://kafila.org/2013/02/11/afzal-gurus-story-in-his-own-words/ The hanging of Afzal Guru is a stain on India’s democracy-Arundhati Roy http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/feb/10/hanging-afzal-guru-india-democracy What are the facts? On 13 December 2001 five armed men drove through the gates of the Indian parliament in a car fitted out with a bomb. When challenged they jumped out of the car and opened fire, killing eight security personnel and a gardener. In the firefight that followed, all five attackers were killed. In one of the many versions of the confessions he was forced to make in police custody, Guru identified the men as Mohammed, Rana, Raja, Hamza and Haider. That’s all we know about them. They don’t even have second names. LK Advani, then home minister in the BJP government, said they “looked like Pakistanis”. (He should know what Pakistanis look like right? Being a Sindhi himself.) Based only on Guru’s custodial confession (which the supreme court subsequently set aside, citing “lapses” and “violations of procedural safeguards”) the government recalled its ambassador from Pakistan and mobilised half a million soldiers on the Pakistan border. There was talk of nuclear war. Foreign embassies issued travel advisories and evacuated their staff from Delhi. The standoff lasted months and cost India thousands of crores – millions of pounds. Anyone who was really interested in solving the mystery of the parliament attack would have followed the dense trail of evidence on offer. No one did, thereby ensuring the real authors of the conspiracy will remain unidentified and uninvestigated. Jai Hind

All said and done, you are privileged to have your views and I do not wish to argue on the same and indulge in a mud-slinging match. It is all a matter of having a live-and-let-live attitude and being permissive. The TVS Boss has donated Rs 50 lakhs diamond-studded waist-band to the Kollur deity for pubicity sake and to hog limelight. As simple as that. When one’s earnings per day are mindboggling compared to what he spends, then he is generous with his wife, children and splurges monies everywhere to hold people in awe and impress upon them. Almighty God is the provider of everything to humanity and he expects us to be God-fearing and lead honest lives without doing anything wrong or harming others. I do not think the Almighty God requires golden or platinum waist-bands, candles, flowers, coconuts, statues made of gold or plating with gold, etc. from us.
