Youth Catch Eight-month-old Leopard at Padur
Udupi: The fear of people residing in Majoor, Padur, and Kalathur has ended with three youth mJanaging to capture an eight-month-old leopard on Wednesday, Dec 4.
The residents of Majoor, Padur, and Kalathur were in fear after the presence of a leopard in the area. Prakash, Prathvi and Sooraj put on a lot of efforts and captured the leopard near ISPRL Padur. Some say that three leopards were sighted by the villagers. Villagers who had informed the forest officials managed to set up two cages to capture the leopards.
On Wednesday morning the three youth spotted the leopard and later in the afternoon using a net they managed to capture the leopard.
Forest officials Nagesh Billava, Jayaram Shetty, Prabhat Kumar and Sandeep Kumar visited the spot.
