Youth Killed as truck hits Motorcycle in Byndoor
Byndoor: One person was killed on the spot and another injured when a truck hit the two-wheeler in Shiroor near Byndoor, on Tuesday, October 23 late night.
The deceased has been identified as Subhash a resident of Kelapete, Shiroor.
According to the police, Subhash was working in Bengaluru and had come to his native place to attend a function. On Tuesday, he had come to a restaurant to have tea. When he was returning home on his motorbike, a lorry hit his two-wheeler killing him on the spot. Chandra, who was riding pillion, sustained grievous injuries and has been hospitalized.
The truck driver has been arrested by the Byndoor Police and a case has been registered in this regard.
