Youth selling Ganja to Students Arrested in Manipal
Manipal: The Udupi Police have arrested a youth carrying 1,388 grams ganja which he was allegedly trying to sell to students in Manipal here on March 27. The arrested has been identified as Hari Pai (24), a native of Karwar.
According to the police the arrest was made based on a tip off by Kumarswami DySP. Hari was arrested from Mandovi Pearl City Apartments Vidyarathana Nagar near Manipal along with 1,388 grams of Ganja. The Police have recovered Ganja, a Mobile and other items all worth of Rs 38,800 from his possession. Hari Pai is a sixth semester student of Manipal Mechanical department.
A case has been registered in the Manipal Police Station.
