Youth Thrashes Drunk Man for Abusing Mother During Mosaru Kudike
Mangaluru: A drunk man was hospitalized after he was thrashed by a youth for abusing his mother at Kadri during Mosaru Kudike programme on September 3, late night.
Gopinath from Suterpet had come to Kadri to watch the Musical nite organized by Kadri Cricketers on the occasion of Mosaru Kudike.
Prashanth (name changed) along with his mother and sister had also come for the same programme. At around 12 midnight, while Prashanth along with his mother and sister were leaving the Kadri grounds, Gopinath abused Prashanth’s mother. Angered by Gopinath’s action, Prashanth slapped Gopinath warning him not to trouble his mother. With the slap, Gopinath lost balance and fell to the road and was injured.
The Kadri police who were on duty attended the case, Inspector Maruti Nayak immediately shifted Gopinath to Tejaswini hospital in his vehicle for treatment.
After the first aid at the Tejaswini hospital, Gopinath has been shifted to another hospital in the city for further treatment. Police commissioner T R Suresh also visited the hospital.
Gopinath is recovering in the hospital. No case has been so for registered in this regard.
