Youth Tied to Electric Pole and Thrashed for Misbehaving in public
Kundapur: A youth was tied to an electric pole and thrashed by a group of women at the LIC road Kundapur here on August 8 for misbehaving in public.
According to the police, the youth is suffering from mental illness for many days. He was passing urine in public place in front of women. Angered by his action, some of the women got together, tied him up to a electric pole and thrashed him. Later the Kundpaur Police, who received information, rushed to the spot and rescued the youth from the women.
The youth is said to be the son of a well-known hotelier in the city and is already married. He has been suffering from mental illness for many days. The police took him to the station, called his parents and asked them to take care of him.
No case has been registered in this regard.
