Youths attempt defacing Hanuman’s Photo at Doddangudde
Udupi: A group of youth tried to deface Hanuman’s Photo, took selfies and assaulted other youths at a gym at Doddangudde near Perampalli on November 14 night.
According to sources, on November 14, evening local youths were practicing at the Vyayama Mandira. A group of youth of other Community entered the Vyaayam Mandira and tried to deface Lord Hanuman’s Photo as well as took selfies. When the local youths questioned them, they assaulted the youths and fled from the spot.
Two of the youths Adarsh and Bhavish were injured in the assault.
After hearing the news a large number of people gathered at the spot and the situation got tense.
Udupi SP Nisha James, DySP Jai Shanker and Udupi Town Police rushed to the spot and collected necessary information about the incident. T
